What's wrong with the roof, or for that matter in front of train?

 

trains tend to be late or not to be at all

 

well, getting a wheelchair to the top of the roof is quite hard....

i did a search on google for "warbirds" and wbfree appeared in the 6th position. so would be a good start for recruiting new players.
but, unfortunately, about half of the home page contains "news" dating from 2002-2004. who needs them anymore, really? maybe they should be placed in a separate page.
i think the home page should be friendlier to those who enter it for the first time. some big announcement like "WB free server. download this to get started".
the download page is a real mess, put youself in a newbie's shoes and take a look at it.
the site doesn't need flashy things, needs just a bit of order.

 

i can't promise that your work will be used by the wbfree-homepage.
but to start, you can click on edit at my wiki.

If this Homepage becomes significantly better, than wbfree.net, they might use this version. But until today I'm disappointed, because nearly nobody is doing any work on it.

If none of the active pilots are doing updates, who can expect updates by the few admins?

 

@maletin: Could you move the "how to" part to first? It'd explain the file lists appering below it.

Happens to me too red ant, i love the art work of il-2 FB but to be honest they need a main arena not some quick hosted arena that may quit on you in mid flight.

 

Yeah at www.wbfree.net definitely I would like to se current situation in arena.
Lets say to have screen shots of map taken every lets say 5 mins or maybe less.
And on the side list of reds and golds currently involved in combat.
And also current planes availability.
And hmm... samynaked pic of random picked up nice female... somewhere in the corner.

 

lets put wb girls photos on the main site and name them available for players with 50+ streak

 

And a threat those poor bastards who don't score 50+ streak, that either polish mafia pays a visit and/or squirl comes to tell how things really are.

-100%+two extra tanks of fuel; that should engourage people to learn to fly
-gungun as a wingman



@maletin: maybe all terrain maps (new and old ones) could be made into one larger file? Then one wouldn't have to DL as many files as now.
And no, I don't know how to do it.
