Biggest bunch of bullshit I ever heard, we would only castrate the polish or french. Possibly the japs. But electrocuting, whats wrong with that? Smoke a joint, take a zap. Whatevers clever.

What's the official view on legalizing cannabis in Canada? Because if what he did wasn't any crime in Canada then sth is indeed fishy here...
Thou I'd think he'll get a few years in prison, not get electrocuted or castrated. I don't suspect even the USofA of _that_ much backwardness :p

You mean castrated firguratively, I'm sure. He'd probably be out in a few years, tops, even if he got convicted. The worst thing about US prisons (the official ones on US soil) is the other prisoners.

My question is why the US feds even care about a thing, considering the times we live in. Of course, the answer is because the feds are incompetent and they prefer to spend their time playing with easy targets. Stuff like terrorism is too hard or controversial for them, and they might have to work overtime ;)

Our extradishun treaty with the USA states [in legalspeak] that we will not extradite anyone who will be subject to cruel or unusual punishment, which, indeed, a ten to thirty year imprisonment is [at least it is unusual and cruel for the Canadian Justice System].
Also, we will not extradite a person for crimes in one country that are not crimes in ours.
We have not prosecuted anyone in many years for selling hemp seeds.
We also have defacto legal and Legal.
It is defacto legal to sell seeds here - if not legal.
Anyway, it is seen more as a sovereignity issue than a legal one per se
I think the guy is an idiot. Tugging on Superman's cape is idiotice whether defacto legal or not.
I wouldn't mind if Canada asked to extradite some hand gun retailers down there after one of their guns is used in the commision of a crime up here.
THAT would affect USA's sovereignity, right?

If you say that Bamboochians suck I won't take it as an offence. Maybe a bunch of them suck but I don't.
Even if I'm the only Bamboochian.

    its liberte fraternite egalite
which, with my limited knowledge of french translates something like freedom, brotherhood, equality.
no democracy there - its hasnt got neither brotherhood nor equality.
