27 august 1943,late afternoon:
8th bomber command Take off to bomb v2 site Watten near st Omer. Fighter cover: 23 squadrons of spit 9, 4 groups of p47.

Scénario:

First wave was 60 b17, 23 spit 9(biggin hill wing sq341.485), 33 p47.the b17s had to go E over france and turn left to N in order to bomb on a good line.

While buff leaved England coast, they were localised by LW
40 planes: mostly 190a and few me109, attacked the raid from St POL to N French coast.


Planes: B17, spit 9, p47, 190a, Me 109.

B17 8th bomber command : 4/5 pilots + 2 wingmen each, leader : FLIHNT.
Spit IX 341 sqd "ALSACE" : 6 pilots, leader: TIGROU
P 47c 56th fighter group : 6 pilots, need leader
190a4 JG2 : 8 pilots, leader:GLAS
109 g2r6 JG26: 8 pilots, leader: HILMAR



rules: each group folow nav and time until meet enemis, then everygroup is free to fight as they want. pilots killed can join gunner pos in b17 (if possible)
