Hello, unfortunately I just found this game/sim I couldn't find any other flight combat games for free (I'm cheap I don't like paying for games) so I'm naturally having a bit of difficulty. Whenever I get someone on my Six I can't shake them... not even the AI in practice mode. I just get raped :UU: every single time. It's easy with a plane which has a gunner :turret: but I wanna be able stand a chance :duel: and maybe for once end up on top-> :UU:. Does anyone have any suggestions pertaining to all aircraft w/o gunners?

I like using the Hurricane II, Mig-3 (5 guns), and Lagg-3 the most though inthe online game sometimes neither is available so I take one of the Yaks. Any specific tips for those planes?

    Thanks for advice in advance

    1.fly "turners". e.g. A6M, I-16.
very few bandits can follow your virage.
    2.fly "b-n-z" planes, e.g. P-51, F4U, Fw 190.
very few bandits can follow your speed after you attacked them from above.

hurricane is a turner, but some planes can outturn it.
mig-3'5 is a bnz plane, good at high alt, bad at low alt.
lagg-3 is a bad turner, heavy and underpowered. for all underpowered or heavy planes you must grab alt any time, then search for a bandit to dive onto.

    ah... one more thing.
when flying turners, beware of unexpected boomers. always look up and around.
when flying boomers, beware of turners. never loose your speed.

And, if it is possible, join a squadron... it will help you a lot!
    Be welcome!

    Interesting... I'll look into that

One more question... would finding a person to spar against be a good idea? I mean will that only tech me dogfighting skills or other skills as well?
