btw, couldn't slots be freed also by reducing the amount of the ammo packages...?

Dont think that really effects the slots mate. But on that same point, could u free up extra slots with the 109 /r6 series for all models? So instead of being able to select either a 109g* or the 109g*/r6 as a seperate slot (g2, g6 and g14 all have a seperate slot for the r6), and have just the single slot for each 109g* series, and select the r6 guns as a weapons package? That could possibly free up 3 slots.

one thing is to request a new plane or substitute and other to invent planes that nevers existed (or were very bad, small numbers etc) for doing balance :)

I thought the FM would be the same for both normal and r6 series, the only difference between them was the extra weight from the gun pods and ammo?

the extra guns consoles induce drag, so it's a different FM. but then a bomb induces drag too, so i have the same dilemma as big-jo regarding the effect of 250kg bomb on a basic variant.

Sounds to me like they fall under the same catagory, extra weight and drag creates different FM. I dunno, it seems like a simple sollution. Then again, i could be wrong :D

Not only drag but they also take some space from wing area increasing wing loading - they work something like glider aerodynamic brake. /R6 would be slower, less maneuverable, harder to control and would stall at higher speeds than clean version.

i think that 109g versions used also different engines with different horsepower and different WEP systems which imo needs to be modelled seperately......

some nice planes that nobody flies could go away though.
mig3 i.e. i rarely see people fly it and in the low altitudes that most peole dogfight it doesnt have good performance (but it has one of the most beautiful cockpits in wb imho).
or could mig3 (3guns) and mig3 (5 guns) be combined in 1 slot?
sbd also is a plane that noone flies and i dont know if that happens with pe3.........
do also v1s and hmacks take up slots?

but anyway cant anything be done to increase the plane slots??
u have created a game with so many differences from the original...
its not logic for me if nothing cant be done about this fact.........
