How many of you marched with Pilsudski? How many of you fought with Anders? How many of you flew with Gabreski?
Ah... ok... So you are NOT a cheater... ok. Sry. I appologise. My fault. Sorry by any disturbance. Im a fool... anyone can dive at that speed w/ that plane....
being a jerk is not enough to be polish but theres good news for you if you try hard enough you can be polish! we have had already romanian poles, spanish poles, swedish, finnish, german... we had even french theres myth about brasilian poles too, but i guess thats no more than just a myth too bad there are so few polish poles tho
Well, actually I gave nothing away to get to the UK and work in Airbus supply chain, getting to participate in building real planes and not babbling on the forum. Sadly enough, with 'highly sophisticated' aerospace industry back in Poland, I could not even dream of a position I have in the UK, back in Poland. Still- that does not make me less proud of being Polish, a thing that some folks here find irritating.
You were just being cheeky, right? Gabby was an AMERICAN BOY, born in the USA. He was NOT a Pole, he was NEVER IN POLAND. Not ever. Although he did eat some good food and drank some fine beer in Pennsylvania, USA, where he learned to speak Polish and he could say "No thanks, I am not hungry, Mom. I filled-up on Pizza with my chums after the baseball game." or "Dad, let's go for a ride, in the Chevy, down to the park, and toss a baseball around." or "Sure, I would LOVE another cheeseburger. Thanks, dad!" - All in Polish! Sorry, couldn't resist that . Anyone know of a decent biographical book about the guy? I think he was alright, very much the product of all that is good in his country of birth. Oh, and about our squads who play under the name Polski: Correct me if I am wrong: Anyone is able to join, no matter where is their home, correct?
Correct at least for 302nd and 303rd AFAIK. 302nd had never had any rules forbidding foreginers to join (vide gahris who is Canadian and I think was our first foreign member or Elena who's Spanish).
what do you think my previous post was about? no i wasnt on acid hell, even those "polish" squads irl had foreign pilots milo, youre funky enough to be a polish lover, do you catch my drift?
