    Poor Jumbo

The mind is a very precious flower
That finds itself a strand amongst the weeds
The cause and effect, is what you might expect
And going round the bend is where it leads
The elephant provides the ivory tower
Is better left to wander too and fro
But jumbo’s got no chance, when the poacher doth advance
With a ghastly poison arrow in his bow

Sometimes it all falls into place
Other times it splashes in your face
On occasion grafting wins the day
Usually when you wear yourself away

Is this fair we ask ourselves as we get our headaches, bad backs and complaints
Is this fair my little ones? is this fair?
    Oh no, it fucking ain’t

Well it’s the way the cripple crumbles,
It’s the flaw of the jungle
    Be reliable and humble
Your’ll be beggared if you bumble
    Merry making catchall phrase
    The twentieth century malaise
    It’s on everybody’s lips
I’m afraid you’ve had your chips

    Manic depression, manic depression
Is not a pleasant fucker, pheasant plucker
    Manic depression, manic depression
It’s a hole full of soap, soul full of hope
    Manic depression, manic depression
Life is all a bloody rush, a ruddy blush
    Manic depression, manic depression
Memories I shoot and hip, hoot and shit

But it’s the way the cripple crumbles
It’s the flaw of the jungle
    Be reliable and humble
Your’ll be beggared if you fumble
A merry making catch all phrase
    The twentieth century malaise
    It’s on everybody’s lips
I’m afraid you’ve had your chips

    Manic depression, manic depression
Is not a pleasant fucker, pheasant plucker
    Manic depression, manic depression
It’s a hole full of soap, soul full of hope
    Manic depression, manic depression
Life is all a bloody rush, a ruddy blush
    Manic depression, manic depression
Memories I shoot and hip, hoot and shit

There are marvelous melodies you all posted - oh, I love them! We do love music in our family. I intended to provide my son, Macloud, a proper musical education in the Castrati School of Singing of Signor Lucrezio, but the maestro discovered our son only liked certain notes. For example, the day of the first audition he had a strong preference for G, F and E and vehemently refused to sing any A and D sharp. The next day his preferences shifted towards strongly liking G flat, B sharp and A-. The third day he refused to sing any note and ran to the toilet where we found him ostinately writing in his notebook "OWLS EAT TERMITAE, THERMITAE, THERMITIDAE, TERMITIE, THERMITE...".

I am sorry, said the Maestro, but you might want to consider a castrato education for your son even if he refuses to sing. If not for him...
Thank you, I thanked him, but now I want him to learn to draw pictures of our Queen, nude.

I'll never forget when my guitar teacher gave me this album :) Many cigarettes smoked listening to it, lol

We were gonna go see a movie, but we managed to get some beers somewhere along the way, I can't remember where. How did we always get beer? In a mid-to-late '70s Camaro. These were the big-phakin' vehicles with racing stripes that the luckier, "rich" kids had.

    Phak

That song is dedicated to K,. who is no longer with us.
