Вас семеро, которых уже можно потихоньку структурировать: Группа перехвата бомбардировщиков. Группа прикрытия перехватчиков. Группа наблюдения и наращивания. 4 атакуют противника, 2 связывают эскорт противника либо сами эскортируют свои перехватчики. Командир должен занять позицию с превышением над боем, координировать действия группы и наблюдать за внешней ситуацией. В критическом случае командир сам может нанести удар (советую после этого опять выйти из боя и вернуться на свою позицию). Hm... Psst, this is not historical. In any intereception mission the planes go right into the bombers - engaging escort is generally considered waste of ammo.
Thanks -exec- for translation of the mission plan. Concerning your advices I can say that this is only basic flight plan based on historical facts. And my group will follow "rules" that say we must stay at 3,5km alt until visual, and fight in pairs. But after first engagement noone can tell what will happen next. Also, with all odds against us, I'm not sure your plan would be better. Anyway, our mission is to defend, and if we leave bombers alone, then we have failed. But, with unfilled luftwaffe ratios, maybe we should try different tactics. Ok, group is completely filled now. Flying pairs will be: 1. -brajo -rgret 2. --ddt- ddartt 3. klinok -lazy- 4. baklan -airty First pilot in pair is a pair leader. Pilots, remember your pair number! We will use it for faster communication and coordination during flight. When attacking enemy formation we will split targets. Targets will be named after this rule: Target on the left is no.1, next to the right is no.2, etc. Targets can be assigned to a pilot with following radio message: 3 (pair number) 2(pilot number) t 2(target) For example 3 2 t2 means that pilot -lazy- should attack second from the left target in enemy formation. When attacking medium bombers targets will be assigned to pairs. 2 t1 means that pair 2 should attack first from the left target in enemy formation. If no message is given (normal situation) then we attack in order of our pair numbers. I attack first target, -rgret second, --ddt- third, etc. In case of medium bombers we attack in pairs. First pair first target, etc. If in doubt, just shoot... Most probably we will not meet formation with more than 6 planes in it, so pair 4 (or any other) will stay high as cover. Again that may be ordered with short command: 4 stay high, 4 engage fighters, or even 4 engage bomber formation! This may sound complicated, but I think it will improve our efficiency. What we are trying to do is to take down as many as possible bombers in that short time needed for enemy fighters above to fall on us. After fighters engage us, our mission is to survive. We will fight them in pairs. Don't lose your wingman out of sight! I suggest you to tune radio 4 to your wingman and type .hl "your wingman name" to highlight his plane icon. Good luck! -brajo
Milan, I suggest spreading the pairs far apart for two reasons: 1. historicly they seem to have did this (maybe because they didn`t have neon signs hanging over their planes ) 2. otherwise there is great danger that you kill all bombers in the first group (since they are not as many as they should be) and all of you will be killed before you even see the next groups. After all, KG2 also wants to see some action. This is for 51. as well. If not pairs, please, keep at least groups (32., 51, IK, 51. 109, 51. patrol) far apart. Regretfully F11 is not as big as Belgrade. You can not loose 80 planes over it.
