    S! All!
I recently found this nice CD:

    Checkflight Gustav
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-2 Trop
    Aircraft Records

I ripped it in to Mp3 files and it's now online. A hint, after download copy it on a CD and use your HI-FI max volume, if you have virtual Dolby you will feel in the 109 cockpit! :)

Unlucky I haven't enought online space, i will leave those files for 2 weeks to let anyone who want to download them, then i will have to delete them and add the last one and the CD cover/label.

    start-up
    taxy-out
    run-up
    take-off
    aerobatics
    landing
    taxy-back
    in cockpit flight

On same CD but different airplanes (great quality)

    P-38 Lightnings
    P-47 Thunderbolts
    Spitfire Mk-14s
    P-40 Warhawks
    P-51 Mustangs

    Enjoy!

Shame they are in mp3, the d/ls are too big for my 56k.

Well, I only downloaded one, and it was 192k, so you might wanna give it a try downloading them anyway :) btw, there's no real suitable alternative which would ensure a better compression than MP3 when it comes to music... AFAIK

Ahhhh...the first one is 2.09MB or something like that, so since they are all in mp3 format I thought they would all be as big.

I'll try the others now. :)

Edited: Taxi-out is the only one of the 109 sounds under 1mb, and its about 900kb.

I put the patch cords into the old 1970s MONDO ROCK BOX. I then turned it up that, when sound outputted, it would be BIG sound.
Then I opened up the shop door, so it would like natural.
Then I fired up that first file.
250 watts of DB601. The fat loud biker accross the street put his crack down and came outside to see who DARES to have an engine louder than his Amerikan Made Oil Leaking Piece Of SHit Harley Davidson (I hate that greasy pig, one day I am gonna club him)...
I watched from the shop as the fat loud greaseball rushed outside to see what it was.
He was puzzled, clearly at a loss. He heard the sounds of a huge monstrous, mondo power, V12 Diamler Benz powerhouse, but he could neither see nor smell where the fuck a motor might be. He was looking toward my place and his toothless mouth opened and seemed to shout, noiselessly "What the fuck is that?"
I shut down the sound clip and wandered outside with a snowshovel.
He knows I want to club him, we don't talk.
I looked across the street and sent an inscrutable smile in the direction of his wife, The Old Drunk Squaw and I shoveled a bit of snow.

(I wish I knew what a crack pipe being lit up sounds like. I would love a recording of that, so I could scare the crap out of that fat greaseball with the sound of a 250 watt (RMS Per Channel) crack pipe)

    Anyways, thanks Odi, cool file.

    lol biles!
I did something like that too but with the track of aerobatics, got my Quadral 500w speackers and hidden close to the window, was too fun to see all the people that passed with theyr nose up searching for such noisy airplane :)
Another one was when i had this CD in my car, and played the first track max volume, peaple around was quite interested on wich sort of powered engine i have put under the cowling :D

    way to goooo !!!!!

thanks a lot - really great sounds !

but when it comes to download the cockpit sound (no. 8) it has only 170 k like spuint says - and theres no sound :-(

and doesnґt anyone know the .ogg file format - way smaller than mp3 in same quality. means less bitrate, same quality, smaller filesize (ґbout half the size).

my pers. opinion - way better than mp3
