    BoB II [hi-jacked]

I just got this. Looks pretty good.
I do not know anything yet. Except that it looks good and there are five hundred or so key combinations to learn.....
    [sigh]

The game sure CTDs a lot.
    Patched even.
And the reviewers say so too, so it isn't just my rig. Sigh.
[I am glad I didn't pay for it. LOL]
When it isn't crashing, it sure looks good. Lots of eye candy. I think I might just bite the bullet and go get a copy of IL-2 [various] and all the packages that go with it.

Game is nasty and just the thing I need during twelve hour night shifts. I can't play online games on my laptop, for obvious reasons [like, for instance, no phone line]. I need decent AI in a AC flight sim. This one seems to have fair AI... But we will see....
There is not much more boring AI than WB offline.

    YES.
Electric Nasal Dylan is WAY worse than Acoustic Nasal Dylan.
I always thought that guy was a WAY better song writer than he was a singer/performer.
And too the fact I HATE every fuckin song he ever did.
[well, no, not hate.... but I remember the sixties, I was there. And there wasn't much worse sounding than Nasal Dylan on a little transistor radio... I had one of those Sony's. I found it in a box in my deaduncle's stuff, upstairs at my gramma's house. Gramma let me keep it. I used to fuckin rock to the Top Ten on the radio. When I was a little guy, I HATED Nasal Dylan. Times were simpler then and I DID hate him. Now, I just can't stand his singing/performing.
Tangerine Man is a fine example of what SOMEONE else could do with his song writing. The Byrd's version was just wonderful. And too, there isn't much uglier than a Bignose in a black cowboy hat]

Maybe you were too young to understand the words... or too stoned.

    BOBII:
Put all the patches in and a new package of terrain.
Been playing it all day yesterday and all day today [got a couple days off work].
    No crashes to desktop, NONE.
Frame rates are acceptable, 20 when there are hundreds of planes in the air and god knows how high, 60+ when just buzzing around with a couple planes in the air.
I don't have the gfx all high high high, but it ain't all low low low either [this is a laptop]. It looks really good. I am enjoying the hell out of this.
I just got back from Future Shop [huge electronics stores in Canada] and I now have a CD with the game [AND THE MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!! (the game came with it!) Which is pretty cool]
