The drop down selection box is just white. Can't see what's there. I can use the arrow keys to move up and down but, have to be careful there as well or it crashes WBFH.
The following step is necessary to avoid a CTD (crash to desktop) when switching planes. Go to Control panel--->System--->Advanced System Settings and, under Performance, click Settings. Scroll all the way down and make sure the Slide open combo boxes checkbox is unticked. Don't forget to save your changes by clicking "Apply".
Current problems I'm having: 1) Drop down boxes for aircraft and ordinance are white. 2) Data for the welcome box, command codes .ros (roster) and .score are black boxes, missing the data that should populate. The same window pops up for each of those commands. 3) If I click on the "Quit" button, I get a memory crash error. Alt+F4 works fine. And, moving the vehicle selection between choices will crash to desktop. I know that was implemented years ago because people were flooding other users chat boxes. Don't think that's an issue now though. %) I'm figuring that the same thing is happening on 2) and 1). I would like to setup WarBirds/IEN software to run under compatibility mode for WinXP Win7 Win8 or something like that but I cannot find the program folder! For the life of me I've looked! I know it must be some graphics conflict malfunction between WarBirds and Windows 10
Haven't been on here in a while but, seems most of the things are working now! Just the drop down box for the planes is still white. No big deal as I just use the arrow keys to move down. I clicked on the "help" and it switches to the desktop and opens Chrome with a page that says: " Error opening Help in Windows-based programs: "Feature not included" or "Help not supported" No big deal there either. Can still go back into WB.
