Did you overclock the video card? Looks like overclocking of memory....

:znaika: NO OVERCLOCKING ! Not necessary with this equipment :D . But its now running with an old nvidia driver 667 (GeForce2 MX, not MX400) and: no stripes.

    hi kottie,

i don't believe in all this driver-updates, but why don't you try the 28.32-version (whql). i got an amd xp1800 with geforce2mx and win xp. the 28.32 works pretty well with me, also available for win98. i would always use drivers from nvidia, not form the manufacturer... infact they are the mostly identical, beside some logo-thingie!

for getting the refresh-rate higher than 60 hz (seems that nvidia will never try to fix it), i use the refreshrate-fix, available with also some modified drivers at
    guru3d

    i sometimes got these psychedelic-colours after using alt-tab, but that's a well-known disease.

    good luck!
