hi all! i downloaded the full version, i also installed the fhlauncher. and now, when i try to fly offline, the world is black. if i try to start, the plane crashes imidiately. pls help me i wanna fly as soon as possible

Loki one other thought occurs to me, but by all I know shouldn't happen and that is that your computer is starting at the wrong time in the arena. Use the time command. You can specify the time in the arena when flying offline. Thank Gawong for this, I learned it from him. Anyway, just type .time ##.## if I remember correctly. It will set the time to the time you specify. There are other functions of the time command but I don't remember them all. Strange if this fixes as I thought the time in the offline arena was supposed to always start at noon. Good luck See you in the air. Also, if you try to fly offline by running warbirds or wbd3d.exe it won't work, click on the "practice offline" option in the start menu
hi lokki! in my opinion, your problem is another. as you said, when you downloaded the terrain, it loads correctly. but thats because, when you connect, FH tells your warbirds to load that terrain. when you start 'practice offline', your WB doesnt have any terrain set to load. solution: inside WB (in offline) select the button 'setup'. click on 'flight' on the top. on the bottom you will see the terrain scroll-list. click there and select WBAWT (is that the correct name?). then exit and restart WB. if you cannot access the 'setup' button from inside WB, start 'practice offline' (wich comes with FHLauncher). WB will start. push 'quit' and click on the credits so that WB menu shows. click options and go to 'flight' and select the terrain in the scroll-list. plz report if it works or not, or even if u did not understand my instructions cya! nic
Make sure your video tab set up in warbirds is supported by the proper artwork. If you have full installation or wbart27 3d cockpits make sure you select 1024x768. If not you are forced to fly 640x480 resolution. You may have downloaded an unsupported or outdated terrain file. Try changing terrains = Setup- flight-offline terrain (select a terrain from drop down list) and then try flying offline. Also are you using FH offline practice?
hi all! thx very much for your help the prob was that in the setup there was no terrain selected - i ve never seen this before but now it works perfect - so im commin into the arena (have to train my aiming with this new gunnery model) cu ------------------ chk 6
