Re: Jacek Kuroń @manonce Try to find some of his works (the best is "Gwiezdny Czas" out of autobiographical trilogy dealing with his life as an oppositionist in communist Poland), I strongly believe, that at least the quoted title was translated (if not into Czech than at least into English). Gives a bit insight not only into Jacek Kuroń's life, but also in origins of Polish opposition, KOR, Latający Uniwersytet, "Robotnik" and Solidarity movements. I've learned more from this single book by Jacek Kuroń than from most of history books I've read prior and after reading it.
