I got problem with joystick under linux (Slack 10 ,kernel 2.4.26) The stick is Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold USB. Im newbie in linux so all I know is: When lunch KDE info center I can find that my joysitck is found under USB port (Human Interface Device) and that is identified as Cyborg 3D USB. How make it be found in games (Target Rabaul)? Problem is that I can't recompile kernel. VIA 8237 & SATA & Linux = boot error. So I use some patched image I found over internet.

Use BeOS or Zeta (which is BeOS) screens: http://www.yellowtab.com/products/screenshots.php Some time soon Haiku will be released (with a little hope) and it will rock http://www.haiku-os.org/
Me sometime ago under redhat9+wine in softmode but only offline flight and with fps about 5/sec as i remember i cant instal fhl properly under wine. But now wine ver is higher so who knows ;]
I run, only software, some graphic bugs, FHL runs but when I try to connect it makes error. I don't know who will it work with cedega.
Today I tried compile kernel one more time. This time it booted good. Joysitick support. Game port support. Analog joystick support (it supports Cyborgs). USB support. HID support. Everything is fine now. Just some sound error. (alsa can't find any sound card) But I got sound anyway
Oh man configuring linux to support your hardware can be a pain in the ass. *is still waiting for some hacker to program Linux drivers for his new Haupage TV card and SB Audigy LS*
Why can't they just publish their products WITH linux drivers in the first place? I mean there's an ever growing number of linux users on this planet. I refuse to believe that there's no profit to be made here.
