Can anyone tell me what may be wrong with my stick. I have to recalibrate very second sortie Rudderfunctions fails, damper seems to fall out etc etc. BTW it is a "wingman extreme" Would like to have problem fixed.
hmm had same trouble this is what i did: after i first tried reinstalling and recalibrate. and after deleting the joystick config file (sry dont know exact name again, anyone else knows?) in wb which all didnt help. i think the above wont work for u either u have to open it and clean the potmeters (pots) inside. that little turn thingies that where the problem with my joy. after opening it spray a little contactspray on them and move and twist them a few times. after that screw the joy back togheter again and start flying again! how long did it take to get this problem, my joy started doing it after 3-6 months after buying in shop after i cleaned it 1 year ago i didnt clean it againso its better now then when i bought it in store GL PS. be carefull opening it. pay attention how u open it because i opened my joy in 10 minutes but i needed 1,5 hours to close it again
Go to the nearest electronics store and buy a spray for fixing potentiometers. Open up your WED, take out potentiometer in a piece of cloth, give it a solid spray, twist a couple of times and place in it's slot again. Repeat for every potentiometer you may find inside (one is in the handle). Put the joystick together and enjoy using a brand new joystick for another year or more. 90% of Polish pilots uses WE3D and most of them is familiar with this method.
