I have some elements that lead me to say that probably the KI61 should carry 2*250 kg bombs:

    - look at this page: www.kotfsc.com/aircraft/ki-61.htm

And look at the picture below (taken at Chiran Museum, Japan)

A japanese war museum is a "not desirable to reference on performance topics" as well ? Or are those under the wings special japanese easter eggs ?

Is this shit as well ?
    www.marksindex.com/japaneseaviation/hien.html

All sources seem to agree about the fact that KI61 could bring 2*250kg bombs instead of droptanks actually.

    Best regards

    "as well" :D
why haven't you started from this, instead of kotfsc?
    look at kotfsc:
Bf-109G-6: 2*20 or 30 in the wings (wow, better aerodynamics!)
    La-7: 3*B-20 with 200rpg (i wish i had so much!)
    LaGG-3: 1*ShVAK + 2*UBS (nice, we have only 1*20 + 1*12.7 here, or 3*12.7)
    F4U-1D: 6*12.7(6*390rpg) instead of real (375+4*400+375)rpg, that's a minor bug.
Same about Hurr-1: they say 8*333rpg instead of 324+6*338+324
    and last, but not least:
"Ki-61-I (Army Type 3 Fighter Model 1), Ki-61-Ia (wing mounted cannon instead of machine guns), Ki-61-Ib (four 12.7 mm (0.50 in) machine guns),"

that's what about weapon. i haven't checked performance.

as you may see, kotfsc is highly faulty.

    "do you read before posting?"
Promet, I don't want to flame with you.
As you might see, I talked about kotfsc reliability.
I haven't mentionned other sources, that means I'm still thinking about Hien's load.

I could ask RGreat attaching bomb to Hien, but for secret reason I would not do it, untill I see the situation.

    That's all.

I don't want any flame too, but it's pretty wierd to read that "as well :D ": in normal sintax that means that both chiran museum and japan aviation site are bullshits.
If you typed "checking your sources" no prob would have occourred.
The important is understanding each other at last anyway :D
