here in toulouse, when we have snow, everybody is happy, but we didn't see some until now. generaly it's during only one morning, then it's transforming in cold soap with the rain :/

We call that 'slush' here. It's the worst thing about snow, it always turns to icy cold slush.

well winters hit here -5 this morning and 5 inch and still snowing right now. but it Was in 40-50 last moth up to cristmas. very unseasbly warm those few weeks. intresting that is just not my corner of the world

at least in the winter time, you can always get another coat on. However, during summertime, you go naked and still sweat. That sucks, not 10 inches of snow on your car....

Yes you know Leuven's at 35m, but you forgot that Holland's much lower, even below 0 in some places IIRC. So the difference is ~35m, 35m is a lot.

So your statement that we were being threatened to disappear into the sea is invalid.
