Lot's of words can also spread due to normal interaction with ppl ie. trade. We have some words originating from german which doesnt look really obivious if you look at the map or the history. I think (in finlands case) it's mainly because there was lots of influence from hansa traders across baltics. Which also meant that some finns went to german speaking areas to study (in latin mostly) and the same ppl wrote the first books in finnish language and used some borrowed words. Which ofcourse had huge influence in language. Maybe the polish hookers were busy selling their asses all around eastern europe and the word kurwa spread in correlation with their legs. j/k
@ Airway: It would have been either sebbo or Achtun, who were both there. @ Broz: Nah mate no tobbaco, just a fat blunt filled with Amsterdam's finest. I have no qualms about admitting to that -glas-
MMMM! I didn't know they make Rogan' (from Kharkov, isn't it?) in plastic! It's probably the only dark beer I really enjoy Ukraine is a real paradise for a beer-lover. Here we have only Obolon' and sometimes Slavutich. Slavutich Mitsne (strong) is one of my favourite beers availible here.
Here, another dusty lense pic with my phone camera out at Lake Tawakoni checking out fishing spots for catfish and crappie....and looking at some lakefront lots for a summer house
