    Many reoports on WW2 planes. It needs much investigation but its interesting that p38f (362 mph) is faster then spit9 (322mph) acording to those reports on 1000ft. In Fh its the spit that is faster.

    The tested Spitfire Mk.IXc was a one powered by a Merlin 61, the pussy of spitfire Mk.IX engines. Maybe the FH Spitfire MK.IX is a Merlin 66 powered one

    i stand corrected....looking at 4th fighter group tables 322mph @ 1000' & 15.5psi sounds too high

    Spit I & II are faster than SpitVb.Mistake?

    Spit 9 LF rollrates should allmost match 190's.
