I have WinXP and was able to fix the CTD that occurs when trying to open a menu. However, everytime I try to fly there is a strange grid-like frame setup, much like the map grids, only it shows up while in the cockpit. Is there some way to fix this? It almost looks like the cockpit art has been pulled apart into a set of badly fitting squares.
