Ubuntu & CS3 products

    Ubuntu & CS3 products

    Does somebody have experience with running Adobe CS3 products (Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver) through Wine on Ubuntu 7.10? For example with Flash 8 there were not problems but CS3-family is another song... :help:

    Fatale, sorry, but the question sounds like "does somebody have experience with running Porshe 911 on a rail track?" Wine is just an emulation and it will never support full Windows functionality in API. If your computer is powerful enough I would offer virtual machine. If not -- dual system loader.

    As vadin says.. I know there are issues at least with PS of late through WINE.

    Do you NEED the latest PS? IIRC PS6 works thru wine.

    Gimp not an option for you? Are also a slew of other gfx capable progs avail via update service in ubuntu (tick 'Show all' programs)

    but dualboot is easy to setup as well ;)

    IRAF or GIMP are both several thousand kilos of something pretty fukken awesome better than adobe bloatware
