Romanian politics these days is something out of Ilf and Petrov. It's so ridiculous.
We have a Left-Right governing coalition. The two main parties (plus a small party milking the votes of the Hungarian ethnic minority, they get into every govt).
So these two parties were supposed to exchange the PM seat. But teachers' strike started and so the Left party didn't want the PM seat anymore. The Right party wanted to get rid of the seat, but they couldn't (except by deserting, which almost happened). In the end the PM agreed to teachers' demands, quit on the same day so the exchange of PM seats was finally possible.
Every single politician avoided responsibility. They're only after the public investment money.

I guess either Prigozhin or Shoigu (or both) won't survive this one.

    None.
    Both are war criminals.
Now that Putin has pardoned those participating in the mutiny, and allowed their commander to leave.
    THE EMPEROR HAS NO CLOTHES!

Even if Prigozhin gets killed in Belarus (which I really doubt), he will continue to be an issue for Russia.
In just a day he proved that Russia is, in a nutshell, rotten to the core.
Its state structures are non-existent, its army is not present, and people cheered the Wagnerites leaving Rostov...

Over the years, he will be remembered as Prigozhin the Reformer.
He already calls the mutiny the March of Justice and says it was aimed at the bureaucracy in Z-land.

Ofcourse. You too Roman. Always fond memories. :D

It's funny how sometimes it feels just like yesterday. Even 20 years later in dreams I find myself trying to evade --rg--'s guns.

Unfortunately both you and rgreat can be in such situation in real.

10 years ago almost no one in Ukraine could think that a neighboring people would attack us.

Now russian propaganda has captured people's heads with imperial ambitions and they already see themselves as super-humans, serving the Good.

Here is just interview on the street in russia with 22 y.o. boy:

    Translation below:
    ...
I'm still thinking about signing a contract.
I'm thinking about doing it just celebrate the New Year holidays.
First of all, it's very cool to serve under the contract.
Second of all, you can calmly KILL people within going to jail.
At the same time you fight for the russia.
You wont' be punished for that, they won't put you in jail.
And the there is another cool thing..
You can catch (what do they call them there) "the Nazis".
    Than you can torture them.
You can put them on their knees and then you cut the heads off.
    That's very cool.
It gives you gives effort and pride!
And you even get money (204000 RUB = 2200 USD) for that.

Q: So, you'd be ready to go there?

Well for this reason yes. I'd like to get money for killing people.
And it's not bad what I will do.
    Good must overcome evil.
    I agree to do this.
    ...

I never said I wanted to leave Ukraine.

And what are the rumors among your military people, how many people does your fuhrer putin promise to mobilize after “presidential elections”?

Do you have your personal desire to die for protection of russian language in Ukraine the tsar?

Как лапшу с ушей снимешь - тогда и поговорим на эту тему.

Какой мне смысл фантазии ваших СМИ опровергать.

Congratulations to the newly elected President of Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin!

    What a outstanding surprise!
I was in a doubt if already pretty old Putin will be able to keep pace with younger opponents and address the citizens with actual topics, problems and their solutions.
But as the Putin always said "There are a hard times for our country today, but we should stay united. The future will be bright! Hold on!" These strong words still have the power to unite Russian nation and are securing Putin's victory in elections since 1899 (after Christ).
The popularity of newly elected president is so high that even his opponents run away from the country, voluntarilly entered the prison or died by natural cases just to support Vladimir Vladimirovich in presidential elections.
There is no other european politic with so strong mandate by voters. The only one who can try to compete with Putin by the popularity is Lukashenko himself. The rest of European countries has a leaders who can barely reach 30% in popularity.
Only in Asia there are few exceptions. Mainly the Xi Jinping with all round 100% of popularity (because Xi Jinping is China and China is Xi Jinping, of course) and the most popular leader in the world Kim Jong Un with the 106% of popularity.

Well, not much to say more. Only to wish to Vladimir Vladimirovich prosperous reign for the rest of his mandate which could reach (depending on the progress of russian medicine and necromancy) till the year of 2048.

Have you already come to terms with losing the war (again) with "insignificant, backward, and barbarian" Russia?

Actually yes, working with the idea of direct war with Russia and training to be at least suitable drone operator for the army.
