    Hello All,
USMC Blacksheep Squadron is currently looking for pilots to fly red.
We are mostly a fighter squad, but do participate in red missions when asked.
We are now using a free ts server that allows us to communicate through mics/headsets thanks to a friend and pilot ron-in. If you are interested, contact a Blacksheep pilot. Thank you, Hogie-

If you don't fly F4U , then what do you fly?

From what I've seen, they pretty much fly any number of red planes, not necessarily just planes used by the Marines.

What the Mary Muhammad is this? Who cares what they fly and for who?

Everyone knows hogie or visloa? What, for their reputation? Visloa isn't one to take seriously for one. That's like recommending mcloud, gawong, or harlandgarros whatever his retarded ID is. lol

I agree. i would like to fly with them as soon as I get some free time from work and the obligations of the Real World.
(and a computer that runs something other than *&%$#@ Microsoft *&%$#@ Vista).

You're running vista? I pity you. Well, until my WinXP is broke, I'll never fix it. It works fine :)

Had no choice, really. The new machines are all Vistas.

The only other choice was a Linux issue.

I'm considering what used to be called Mandrake but I don't have the bandwidth to deal with the learning curve.

Guess I'll have to take the time to resurrect and old machine with USB for the jostick, super video card with 3D acceleration and pull-out my Win98 second edition...

Why don't the FH gang get with the program and make a Linux version as well as a Vista version?

I'm not ready to partition my hard drive and do the dual boot thing just yet.

As much as I hate to admit it, I ran Win2000 pro with FAT32 and had great success.
But then again I ran DOS for years , rejecting Win95.

I went from DOS to Win98SE.

BTW: Aces High works perfectly with Vista......

The path of (as much can possibly be) glorious MS-OSes:

    Dos 5.0
    Win 3.11 (for workgroups)
Win 95 (the latter with USB support. 2nd Edition?)
    Win 98 2nd Edition
    Win XP SP2+

have vista on the latest puter. I don't use it. It refuses to run any of my programs and has patriarchial views of what is allowed until you hack it. Pfeh.
My wifey uses it. She surfs Ebay, checks mail and read the newspaper.
