V-Day Memorial Flight ? 61th Anniversary of the end of WWII

On the 8th of May, 1945 ? 21:01GMT had been assigned surrender of the German army. The war in Europe was over.

For tribute of the many airmen of all countries who participated in this tremendous war I invite all pilots to participating on the V-Day Memorial Flight. It will be nice opportunity to make a big parade of formations and let WB pilots to meet each other in common international flight.

    Destination:
SA Arena (EAW 1941-44), IP: 83.149.244.5

    Reunion:
    8th May ? 20:15GMT (17:15 BLT, 22:15 CEST, 23:15 MST )

Armee de?l Air, Cоветская Армия (CA) - VVS, Luftwaffe, RAF/Royal Navy, Regia Aeronautica, USAF

    (concrete types soon)

    Formations/Flights:

    Coming soon

Everyone welcome, please assing yourself here ? we will build roster without delay.

    Pls assign following data:
    Airforce
    Fighter/Bomber/Hvy
    Flight leader yes/no

    Flight Plan

    Airforce/Destination/Plane:
    RAF/AeA/USAF F - F1 - Hurricane, Spitfire, D520, P38, P51
    USAF/VVS B - F2 - B24, B17, DB3
    VVS F - F6 - La5FN, La7, Jak3, IL2,
    LW F - F10 - BF109, FW190, Me 110
    LW B - F11 - Ju88, He177
    ReA F - F13 - MC205

    Flight Plan
Pilots will take-off from airbases where they are assigned (vis Airforce/Destination/Airplane above).

Allies follow to the meeting point Alfa (f5, 10.kft) where will stby and form for next way.
Axis follow to the meeting point Bravo (f12, 10.kft) where will stby and form for next way.

When both Allied and Axis formed at meeting points, after confirmation by rbull- they follows to the meeting point Charlie (2,5 cross - 10.kft) for final formation flight of all planes. When formed - whole flight follows to the way-point Delta (between Dover and Calais - 10.kft) where will turn left hdg to London. During this way, flight will descend to the 3.kft to reach way-point Foxtrot (N outskirts of London). At waipoint Foxtrot flight will turn left hdg to the f4 for landing.

Flying in formations IRL is a difficult thing that requires trainig, precise timing and proffesional communication of all pilots. Lack of those things we must substitute with lot of enthusiasm and patience and endeavour during flight. I believe it will be a good fun :)

    Settings:

Attention - to avoid collisions, unexpected fire by ottos and hot-fingers ;) - ALL PLANES (NO MATTER IF ALLIES OR AXIS) WILL BE ASSIGNED AS REDS. So every pilot must switch to red and go to the designated airbase.

    External view - enabled

    Bombers - airstart 5000ft
    fuel-load - 100%
    bomb-load - drop on airstart

    Radio Channels:
    11 - RAF/AeA
    22 - USAF
    66 - VVS
    LW - 10
    ReA - 13

Common channel - 101 (mostly dedicated for leaders comm)

    Roster:

Dont stay aside - Lets take fun! :)

Well - of course all VVS were invited, but maybe i didnt make it clr. In the list there is "CA" - Cоветская Армия. So srry for my imperfect specification. I have corrected it in first post.

So definitely - all who want fly for VVS are welcome too!
