    Hehe, sorry. I knew someone would get me for that. :dark: I should have used different wording for that. I meant that this is only a game and games should not be taken too seriously. :cheers:

    I'll shoot anything that is threat to me.

    I choose my targets based on their current threat or awareness level. Meaning that I mostly attack planes that probaply will be able to challenge me if I don't get them first. Exception is if I see myself in good position to suprise another lesser "threat level" opponent and kill him much quicker. This all is to keep overall threats as low as possible and situation under my control.

    Smoking planes can hardly be threats and I very rarely shoot them. Taking off planes are threats, but so are acks also. And acks can be avoided. So it's better for me to let them out of ack before eliminating them.

    Landing planes I don't shoot purposedly ever. Wasting my ammo on landing or heavily damaged planes only reduces my own changes of survival.

    It's not about honor or anything. Just what is efficient. And maybe some friendliness towards my comrades on the other side. :)

    Complaining about other people's doings isn't for any good. They have different styles of playing game. Some try to survive, some try to get points, some try to build streaks, some want to practice ACM/duel and so on...

    However little bit friendliness towards other players is always good IMHO. I wish I would follow this idea more often myself. :)

    GREAT post Illo-I find myself liking you more all the time ,even if you are a...BnZ specialist :). You are very good at your style, and if this were real life F-up and die, I'd do exactly the same :) :@prayer:

    I just get so much more a thrill out of turning the tables on an Energy advantaged con, than shooting down guys that never see me coming. Let's face it, MOST cons we come across are simply very bad at SA skills, and therefore....no challenge at all to kill.

    Most of my kills are against an enemy that starts with all the advantage,hieght,speed = E. I turn the tables on them gradually reducing thier E adv. to the point that I am able to pull lead for a kill. Often, the veteran Gold will realize he is facing a worthy opponent and use his speed adv. to egress, exit the fight.

    Vulching is a means to build some score and therefore a... sence of confidence. This confidence comes down HARD when beaten by a skilled adversary fighting from an inferior position, and often leads to acusations of "cheater" :dura:

    These last comments are in general only and not aimed at Illo, if it seems so.
    I have the utmost respect for his abilities. :@prayer:

    i agree
    attacking rolling planes isnt dishonor, its common tactic;
    allow foes reduce the e advantage its not honor, its stupidity;

    shoot whatever threats, let the damaged ditch (awarding a kill on ditching planes on their theritory is a good idea - after all its not about killing, its about make enemy beaten.... not for all pilots, i know :))

    Anything that tries to ditch is not only fair game, but deserves to be pursued to the ground, especially considerring that 109s easily ditch at 200 mph. Award the kill for a ditched plane, and I won't try so hard to "finish" a kill.

    Cons taking off, cons landing, they are fair game. If you don't wanna die quick, don't take off under enemy guns. Fly to a clear field to land, take more fuel, what ever you have to do to live, do it. But don't whine when you get popped. When I'm flying, I'm going to try to kill you, even if you're parked on the runway.

    While I don't make it my practice or my game to pursue chute killing (contrary to the beilef of some moderators who irresponsibly use words like "ALWAYS" and "NEVER" when describing my arena behavior) I will occasionaly pop a chute when severely provoked. Especially if i've been vulched, and have caught the vulcher.

    I've been called a kill stealer by some of you including the afore mentioned moderator. Those of you that know me, know that i would acknowlede any kill I thought was a steal as such. Anyone who says I never fight and only steal kills is grossly mistaken.

    I hear many of you complain about having kills stolen (not necessarily by me). Well, if you fly a plane with 50cal guns, you can get used to it. I've had many sortie where I pumped and pumped lead in a con with rifle cal or 50 cal guns, only to have someone with 20mm cannon swoop in and kill the con. Oh well, I don't whine about it online. I certainly don't go to the forum and start a flaiming post about him.
