    Hi everyone,

The following bombers were nominated in the first Japanese Bomber thread for possible inclusion in the game. Have a close look at the list with preliminary, inaccurate data on performance and introduction dates, then vote in the poll.

You can vote for as many bombers as you like, but I can't promise that even one will be included :) That's just a lobbying poll!

    Regards,

    Henning (HoHun)

Ki-67 Hiryu (Peggy), late production, had 3x12,7mm (one each in in nose and port and starboard beam positions), twin 12,7mm machine-guns in the tail turret and 1x20mm Ho-5 cannon in dorsal turret, according to my source.

    G5N had 2x20mm cannons "type 99 LNDEKE 1" and 3x7,7-mm machine-guns "type 97" according to www.airwar.ru. dunno location

    Hi Gryphon,

    >emily would be most benificial i think, buthow to implament the the flying boat?

Maybe it will be impossible :-/

However, some people suggested the H8K, so I added it to the poll anyway.

    I did some googeling :)

IMO if jap bombers are to be added, it should be either small or big type. Betty handles the medium size bomber in this respect quite well.

So I vote for either G5N (and I know, only six made, but maybe developers could
use the "Pe-8" explanation on this one too. Could it be morphed fron b-24?
    )
Or B6N, which has better payload than D4Y. (Easier to do, I believe. Hasn't Babek suggested this earlier?)

About guns on G5N:3x7,7 (up/nose/under) ans 2x20 (tail like betty?)

Don't get me wrong. I have absolutely no problem for adding Pe-8 to game. AFAIR Pe-8 was a sort of "prize" (didn't know any better word, sorry) for all the hard work for him who has made many other planes (and I don't remember his name, sorry again) so it's really ok with me.

What I ment was that there's been mentioned few times the amount of planes that has had to leave the production line in the first place, a sufficient number for implementation into FHWB. Pe-8 didn't met this number, right? That's why I mentioned it. I know that six (6) isn't as many as needed to meet the production demand (what was it,1000?) but I've asked imanigatory planes before, remember? :D

Peace, ou thou middle/far eastian moderator

    (goan....pah, I laugh to your "a-place-that-is-far,far-away-from-my-place"ian threats...)

In 1943 Pe-8 is't outstanding plane. B-24 is better to use.

But it's big and evil and wasn't made as many as normally needed for implementation. This is what ment when I use it as an example with G5N issue.

G5n as a bomber is bit of a fantasy plane....troop transport with some speed & 20mm ottos could be fairly cool.

How about a gunless Ki.43 with a 500kg bomb for the IJAAF late war set?
