Win 2000

    System changed to Win2000.

    Starting fhlauncher.exe as an "administrator" WB works fine.

    Starting wbd3d.exe as a "user" WB works fine too.

    Starting fhlauncher.exe as a "user" or "mainuser" I got an error message:

    Failed to set data for 'DisplayName'



    I've tried to change usersettings, but no changes succesfull, except I put the user to "admingroup".

    i need to know (to help ya) how have ya put fhlauncher in superuser-mode ?

    Do you ask, wether I installed the Launcher as an "administrator" you called superuser? (sorry, i have a german OS :).

    Yes, I did.

    So I guess, do you want to tell me, that I have to install the launcher as a "normal user", so that this user/group is owner of the Launcher?!

    Uninstalled FHLauncher. Re-Installing Launcher logged in as a normal user:

    Installation safe. Then the Programm asked me for the WB-Path. Path slected --> same error message like above.

    I think, the user cant update/mix the changes into the title of the Launcher-Window.

    Maybe ya got user permissions unsuitable for online gaming (or online anything, or online something) as "user..."

    check ur Micros...hit dealer... or just reinstall fhlauncher as user i have no problems running fhlauncher in both modes under win 2kPro... sometimes i wonder why ;)
