Very cool. What part did you play in the band?

I didn't know anyone else that covered a Gil Scott-Heron song.

It really wasn't a cover, just the title was stolen by our singer whose stage name was -- prepare yourself -- Stalin ;)

The band considered my guitar work to be "too jazzy," though, so my final-cut contributions on that project were vocals and voice rants, done remotely and in some studios on Strong Island ;) They used to mock me and ask me to "play some more jazz progressions!" I only got composer credits on one of the songs.

It was really a side project thought up by a friend of mine who was a producer and was close to Public Enemy. So it was all studio and no gigs, thank God.

It's a terrible album, to be honest.
