on gold i did notice 190 7mm are empty before 50% off 20mm. it use to be other way agound. so is defintaly a porblem. and niki was a most unplesnt experience.
It would be nice to see 'aircraft-global-bug-history' and bugfixes. Imho good idea is creating subforum/direcotry with threads for each plane with bug-history. Each thread should contain fixed bugs, noticed bugs (w8 for devs reaction). Here is 80 post and its difficult to notice all bugs, or devs only read russian-lang-thread
I flew the ki84 a few times today, and overall, Id still sooner take a 109g before the ki for the reason that on really low speed with full weight its a trap with poor acceleration- but once moving it does well. But with the messy DM I just think 3x20 and 2x13mm guns is just all round better for killing.
I've tested all fighters and made a list of planes that I cannot recover from stall ... : Me BF 109F-2 Me BF 109F-4 Macchi M.202 Folgore Spitfire Mk. XIV ( I think that he is turning too few too ... ) Maybe increasing rudder performance of this planes help ... I've tested all fighters with full fuel tank and .ord 1 and a starting alt of 5000 ft ALL ANOTHER FIGHTERS ARE SPIN-RECOVERABLE ( at least for me ... ) ( Bs.: to recover from a stall into one Ki84, just use flaps ... ) ... No more GL for all
Both N1ks seem to behave somewhat oddly. IRL late spits had bad reputations for their spining qualities (violent, hard to get out of with occilating rate of spin), but good reputations for their spin avoidance qualities (aircraft gave a lot of warning before going from near stalling to spining & was easy to recover from the stall)
Add the 109G2 to the list, thought I'd try the new version, took a 109G2 up, put it into the vertical at 400kph, speed bled off waited for the moment to rudder over into a hammerhead and then before I could I'm in a flat spin. Hey-ho back to furballing in IL2FB. Mal
While fighting vought, about a week ago (in Mossie) my Bf 109G-2 would compress at bottom part of loop, vought's plane managing to pull up sharper than the 109. Then catch up at top etc etc, until somehow I overshot him by 100 yards and under his nose (couldn't see me). Imagine my plane being flat relative to the ground when it spun, it completed 3 revolutions and then I caught it. Does it have to be with nose up to be irrecoverable?
I have small* problems with recovery in 109G14, but maybe it is only me. *small here mean that I failed to recover 3 times on 3 trials. In every case I was at about 4 km.
Ive tried (two or three times on MA) today to recover from spin in tempest, and every try was unsuccesful. Could someone confirm that tempest is unrecovable?
