well... occasionally i got to know about new command on MA today.
    situation:
-nick- is ditched on the enemy territory.
savior must fly nearby him, closer than 90m, slower than 200mph (320kmh).
at this moment savior can type command
    .save -nick-
to take -nick- aboard, then rtb to save life, scores and streak of -nick-.
probably the command is buggy and not finally coded yet.
but it is on server already.

sorry folks, it is the only thing i can say now.

No.....but if the ground conditions are right, it is possible to land an LI2, and take off again. I have done this a few times waiting for a field to close, but that was before they detuned the climb rate.

    regards, Oz

ozmale, land with a li2 out of a field? how without loosing the gears? imo only some planes should take ditched pilots (stuka, li2,ju52...etc...but a 109??? )

    from http://www.elknet.pl/acestory/aces.htm

"On 16 February 1944 Horbaczewski took command of Polish 315 Fighter Squadron "City of Deblin," with squadron codes "PK". In March of1944, the Squadron was re-equipped, from "Spitfire" Mk Vs to "Mustang" Mk IIIs. On June 22, 1944 "Dziubek" had a performance of remarkable courage. During a ground attack on German units near Cherbourg, the aircraft piloted by Lt. Tadeusz Tamowicz was damaged and forced to land. Horbaczewski skillfully landed nearby on an airstrip just built by Americans. He found Tamowicz, who had injuries to both legs, and brought him back to "Dziubek's" P-51. Horbaczewski flew the two of them across the Channel to the home base of Coolham."

there is many space in p51 ;)

Great idea imo. Ive heard many instances of pilots stopping to pick others up, including the one above.

"i know what you're thinkin punk... you're thinkin "did he fire 800 shots or only 799?" and to tell you the truth i've forgotten myself in all this excitement... but being this is a Hispano MkV 20mm - the most powerful cannon in warbirds and will blow your head clean off..
you've got to ask yourself a question "Do I feel lucky?" well.. do ya, punk!?"
