All planes do have the front left/right views. 7 and 9 keypad. :dunno:

Sorry, comment was made in reference to graphics for these views. I question the necessity for them. Will the addition of graphics for these views overly hamper the pilots ability to keep a lookout?

Those views in the P38 will be improved in my final design. Until I have actual photographs taken from where the pilot's head would be, in a 360° coverage, what is present is what I'll be using.

Ok, guess what? Yep, this is my final P38 cockpit draft. I went through all the images and synchronized/standardized the palettes for color coordination and transparency equality. It's all in 256 color, *.bmp format for all to look over.
Let me know if there is anything I missed that needs fixing.

In case anyone with PSP wants to use the same palette to create or edit, here are some files:

Here is the Paint Shop Pro 7 palette I used for most of the images. Some images I had to edit the palette because some pixels were standing out too much. Since I'm fairly picky about that sort of thing, I went and edited the palettes and most images above share the same palette but, some I had to manually change due to shared pixel colors. You'll see that in the color palette selection bar.

If you could create a new .vew file for this final draft, I can test it and see how it looks. Will it take a while to adjust the gauge needles and other data?

Is it possible you could send me the program that makes that .vew file or is it just programming? I noticed some of the other cockpits we have need some editing/updating as well and I would like to try working on those too. :mafia:

My intentions?? Hmm....I want to fly with transparent cockpits :dura: :dark: :D
My intention is to be able to see what the cockpit will look like after I make changes. Otherwise, I get too far into changing a cockpit and find out it's not fitting correctly or colors/patterns are wrong, and I have to start over sometimes. :joystick:

BTW....revised again for some issues and other tweaking....

Need another .vew with these updated images.
    Thanks. :)

Yes, and I know the P-38 had two gauges for Left tank, Right tank and Front tank, Rear tank. Any fuel leak drains all 4 tanks. :turret:
(maybe we can meet halfway and cause fuel leak to drain half of current fuel level while flying?)

I could design a single gauge that incorporates dual RPM function like the Temp and Oil. I thought of that. I could also create a single gauge with L/R fuel tanks. :mafia: :deal:
