So, do you mean it's something you can't change or don't want to change?

But, really, you would have to have some amazing luck or be shooting at a stationary plane. I'm trying to make a realistic comment.

Simple, cut a hole through cockpit art headrest about the size of the mirror. You can change cockpit art I know. :mafia:

Don't get defensive man, we're just voicing our objections/comments which have been received by deaf ears for years. As you said before to which I only answered:

I don't see the usefulness of that option in the first place.

do you have any climb data or just ask us to compare J/H behaviour?

it's impossible to separate fins and rudders
the only thing could be done is duplicating sturdiness of these
it's impossible to stop leak when a single tank exhausts

this is damage map of P-38's
when hit is calculated, the needle of penetration is used.
colors penetrated is the famous hit needle that contains up to 4 elements of airplane.
also, once the game calculated a hit needle, it throws coordinates of impact out, and following operations mention only "rfus-cfus-pilotarmour etc" terms.

in this picture red colour means guns. actually the section of nose is:
    LR
    NN
upper left cubes are for "left gun", 2xM2, upper right cubes are for "right gun", 2xM2, lower two cubes are for "nose gun", AN/M2C.

the thing i want to ask is what are your proposals about damage map.
would you propose to make gun block lesser? and how?

which airplanes you think we gonna try first? spitfire1a?

in my (10 years?) experience: when topic is lost, it's almost impossible to get ideas about fhl release.
specifically, every time FHL topic went to DM, topic becomes useless for performance/loads discussion

First, want to thank you for looking at my concern and looking up the information.

Well, nothing is impossible, really. There are separate ailerons, landing gear, guns, whole wing sections.
    My suggestions:
How about this...can that section of the horizontal stabilizer be cut out to separate the booms/vertical stabs? If not, how about reducing the functionality of the rudder by half when it gets blown off as both rudders cannot be both blown off at once, unless the whole rear section falls off. Can't the rear horizontal be treated like the front horizontal (main wing)? Ailerons are separate. If there is a fuel leak, I would say, losing half of what a person already has would be acceptable. A setting like that for all planes with more than one tank would be nice!

What I did here was represent what the comparable surface in relation the other portions of the aircraft on the hstab. Adjusted the hstab surface area to be realistic in comparison to rudder placement, corrected the movable control surface area represented by the actual aircraft, set damage color similar to the ailerons and primary wing area. The hstab is too large and damage color indicates more severe damage when hit, especially the hstab and vstab itself.

Well, what you see above is what I can understand of the software you use. I don't really know or understand completely what can or cannot be changed. So, what do you think? :fly2:
I would say all planes that have a unique twin boom design with an hstab mounted between requiring unique design modeling. ;)

Understandable from yours and others point of view but, as I'll point out, the DM is the squeaky wheel. :p We as a whole, the majority, want this game/simulator to be reasonably accurate but, fun as well. Not so difficult that new people quit. I know this is off topic but, we need an easy newbie arena due to losing nearly all the good pilots.

I don't have data. I'm not asking you to compare anything.

Just make it climb better if you get the chance. Right now, it takes the entire length of a medium field to get off the ground--and even then its ass still drags on the ground for another 1000 meters.

It also bleeds E like a fat man sprinting.

So maybe it's a engine power thing.

    Probably because you don't cheat.

The cheaters will switch sides, attach to find you, quickly bail and leave the arena.

Then they will come back in and immedaitely switch sides back to thier original color and up a fighter to intercept the bomber they found by attaching to it.

When I suspect it is happening in busy arena, I will up a bomber to some place that is non-strategic and sometimes just out over the ocean nowhere near the enemy fields...........yet I will sometimes be intercepted by a fighter at my exact altitude.

It happens and all it would take is for the buffer to announce that someone has attached to you as it already does for him.

Hey -exec-, I know we've already discussed this sometimes, but considering the production numbers and the planes that saw action in the WWII of the C.205 Veltro, and being the numbers of Re.2002 almost the same, actually I found some data about its use by the Luftwaffe, are there any possibility to have the Reggiane Re.2002 on the Gold side?

    BTW, what about Re.2005?

actually c.202/205 is the same design with 1185+264 numbers...
just marketing title for "fighter five" program, imho.

    re.2002 about 50 (fifty)
    re.2005 29 (twenty nine!)

    how 29 ≈ 1449? well, even 29 ≈ 264?

    and what about my signature?

    So we have divergences here.
C.202 and C.205V aren't the same planes, the design is basically the same, but the C.205V is much better than the C.202 (Better armament - Better engine - Better handling - Higher top speed - Higher wing loading - Higher rate of climb - etc). They perform completely different from each other, altough in WB I do prefer the C.202 Series VII.
Being just marketing title for "fighter five" program, as the Re.2005 does, and remembering your signature wich isn't visible, I know that Re.2005 doesn't deserve to be designed. I just asked aimlessly.

But in the numbers you've presented about the C.205V and Re.2002, I heavily disagree with your Re.2002 numbers. The Re.2002 appears on the same year of C.202 (1942), and had 225 number built (according to Wikipedia) / 218 (according to "World Aircraft: World War II, Volume I" by Enzo Angelucci)

"After the Italian surrender, the Luftwaffe used the Re.2002 against the French resistance, including the maquis of the Vercors plateau in south eastern France. = 76 Re.2002"
"Finally, the Co-Belligerent Air Force, fighting alongside the Allies in Italy, used 40 Re.2002s for ground attack missions in support of partisans in northern Italy and the Balkan."

The Re.2002 was used by the Luftwaffe, and about your numbers in C.205V, you are counting all the production units, and if you search, you'll see that about ~126 C.205V was operated by Luftwaffe and ANR, and ~6 by the Allies. If you subtract the C.202 numbers, you'll see that if the Re.2002 doesn't deserve to be here, so the C.205V doesn't.

Regia Aeronautica always get fucked. :p

    Yes, all very good points.....

    and now for my turn:

3,000+ P-63s by Red Army, built in USA but with Russian designer and pilot specifications and all we get is the P-39Q and NOT at all the same plane...

    %)

    :D

Going back to cry in my borscht......

Well then, we paid for admission by the Pe-8, and any additional plane must be

built in greater numbers than 500~1000 units and plane must be better than

    plane being used.

That seems to have fit the bill for the admitting of the P-63 !!!!!!

    :D

fas is going to figure out how to lower killedgun ratio.

as for double fin issue: it could be solved only by doubling hitpoints: it would take twice more ammo, but still out two at once. same with 110/b24/pe2

for "mirror" view: give us an art

I think we need some new gold fighters, for reds we have many planes, but on gold side it is worse, sometimes only one 109 and 190+ some japs shit.... so italian planes would be nice.

168- thanks for fixing Dora :super:

Totally agree! More Regia Aeronautica in FH!
BTW, will it be true -exec-? Me-262 in NOV/1944 and Meteor FEB/1945?

    And what about Re.2002?
