Ah, we Belgians have some good airshows too, Coxyde is one of them, it's an Air Force base operated by a Sea King squadron of our air force. I went to that airshow once, and I saw Patrouille de France, Frecce Tricolori, Red Arrows, Jordanian Falcons, Some guys with orange smoke (heli display team), lotsa of other stuff... but it's the only year that there were no heavy jet fighters since the runway was being repaved at the time... normally we paint one of our F16's in special schemes which you can view at the BAF site

The Dutch most of the times scrambe a whole squadron of F-16 to end an airshow...

    T+

    Fuiiiii! :turret:

Thanks for the achtung call doggun.
I have some experience in virtual formation flying from FS98 (hardest to maintain formation than WB IMO) and im aware of this conection problems and also that in WB the distance u see the other plane isnt the same distance he sees you
For example: im at the right wing of the leader and in my screen i see him D 0.5 but he sees me at D 1.5. So i guess for who is watching the flight will not see a really tight formation like we wanted to do.
But anyway imagine a formation of 4 planes flying in diamond in yet acceptable max of D 1.5 from each other and smoke on performing a looping will looks nice anyway but we gonna do our best.
But whats hard for us is when we break the formation (ex: low over the runway, left wingman does a 360 left turn, right wingman does 360 right turn and leader does a looping and all regroup at the end of the maneuver) its what we r findind hard to perform perfectly.

We stabilished referencial points over the airfield and amount of G's per turn and we r flying zekes right now coz we plan to create a compact packet of maneuvers that can be done tight over the airfield, but the plane selection still under study.

About the leader its -bola and hes very patient and smooth at the controls and he flies at 90% throtle maneuvers already ;)

    All help is welcome.

I`d love to try but unfortunately no time. :(

In my first months in WB I spent many hours in training basic and not so basic maneuvers offline with smoke (i didnt knew yet of FH then) but now most skill is forgotten. :(

Fresh Tricolori have come here 2 years ago. A have a whole lot of pictures!
