    Sigh.....

I should really pay attention to Glas's motto:

"Never get in to an argument with a stupid person.....they just drag you down to their level then beat you with experience"

Btw, your obviously too thick to realise, but the P51 done absolutely nothing to save Britain.

It helped in the destruction of Germany, escoring bombers. But show me just one instance of a P51 killing an attacking Luftwaffe plane over British soil, and I'll eat my hat.

Ok glas- the british were defeated, they had virtually no navy left, their airfields were in ruins, and that left then a stranded island, they were infact so helpless, germany didnt even waiste the time to finish them off instead they went to russia "imagine that, germany sees the underdog as the more threatfull opponnent. But, because attacks on britain were basicly non existant, this gave america the time to rebuild and resupply the country.

And perhaps "scotland" isnt familier with the phrase "the best defence is a good offense". For example, america decided, why have a plane that can only fight planes after most of their destruction has been done to our land?! Lets make a fighter that can go fuck up shit on their lines!

But I suppose america making one of the first fighters that could cross the "drink" and make it back is just "sitting on their bums".

"On January 14th, former personnel of the Polish Air Force's C.W.L. Deblin training centre were formed into number 315 Deblinski (City of Deblin) Fighter Squadron at Acklington, England. This was the sixth Polish squadron formed in the RAF from expatriate airmen to continue the fight against Nazi Germany. In July 1944, the squadron flying the Mustang MkIII (P51C), became part of the Air Defence of Great Britain (ADGB) where it's primary role became "Diver Patrols" against V1 flying bombs from the Continent, although it continued to fly armed reconnaissance, escort and other mission over Occupied Europe. At this time the unit was led by the legendary Squadron Leader Eugeniusz Horbaczewski (nicknamed "Dzubek") who was to achieve 16Ѕ victories in the air (5Ѕ in the Mustang) plus 4 V1's downed. The stories of his courage were many, the most notable being the occasion when he landed his Mustang on an uncompleted Normandy landing strip and flew one of his downed pilots home on his lap. The outstanding air battle for 315 squadron occurred on August 18, 1944 when it engaged over 60 Luftwaffe fighters near Beauvais and destroyed 16 ME 109's and FW 190's for the loss of one of their own, which sadly was that of Dzubek himself."

So glas, are you going to eat that hat on a webcam? Or will you just send me a postcard? :) Because you WILL be eating that hat you spoke of.

Is a V-1 considered an aircraft? No.

Does Beauvais sound british to you? No.

    Is Allsop a moron? Definitely.

I love how you can all talk about me being "retarded" when in the very biggening it says "Squadron Leader Eugeniusz Horbaczewski (nicknamed "Dzubek") who was to achieve 16Ѕ victories in the air (5Ѕ in the Mustang) plus 4 V1's downed."

Now, I dont know how retardation is measured in europe "im sure your on the high side of the scale, dont worry" but In america 5.5 victorys, plus 4 v1's, means that he got 5.5 a2a victorys, plus 4 v1's, making a total of 9.5 victorys in the air....Now, since we know v1's are their own category, what was this man shooting down in the air? could it be....hmm....let me use my retarded brain.....other airplanes!? of course! now it all makes sense!

If you actaully knew how to read english, you would read that this defence squadron WAS in britain and it was a DEFENCE squad meaning everything they killed was close to home.........

AFI, you a big enough "special person" for all of america, just be happy we dont hide you in a closet. And im pritty sure cbfs just hit his head to many times... or perhaps doesnt understand english?

Allsop, please, you're just showing us how ignorant you are when it comes to history...

Hitler didn't decide to go for Russia because he didn't even care to finish of Brittain, it was something entirely else. Really, go read up on history, because you're talking out of your ass. Also, if you don't understand that glas meant an AMERICAN P51 shooting down a German plane of British soil then you're about as smart as a goldfish...

    @ Glas:

About that thing with a P51 shooting down a German over Britain... according to the book "A History of the Luftwaffe", there were a couple occasions where that did happen. I know it seems like it wouldn't occur, but a few times it did. I don't know the details though, I read this a while ago, but the detail stood out in my mind.

AFI, niether was the one that rolled out of your mouth.

Zembla, please show me proof of a factory anywhere else in the world besides one in the united states that manufactured p51's during ww2. Because I honestly believe you cant, therefor all p51's are american. Plus I dont think your a good judge of what glas ment unless your a prooven man of mind reading.

So please, feel free to stop telling me how little YOU know of history as you have nothing to contradict what I say other than your own opinions that were randomly generated out of your own ass.

Me and you, we arnt so different. Are we Mr.anderson?

It's not because it was manufactured in the States that it was an American plane... It was a British Mustang, not an American one that shot down those planes...

In fact, if it weren't for the British there would've never been a P51...
