Rafael please send you latest views as email to me so I can make all additions.

I will also send here everything thats updated.

    Ok?

    1. I centered view. It was slightly to right and up.

    2. Drew cockpit frames up accordingly.

    3. Added new labels for Majakka, Auto and Jarru.

    My plans to include next.

    1. Copy artifical horizon from rafaels bmp and paste it, then modify it.

    2. Switch fuel indicator to far left(like in rafaels pic).

    3. Trying to fit new speedometer.

    4. Trying fit bank angle indicator.

    5. Adding ammo counter and flaps.

    6. Trying to fit new altimeter.

    Hi illo

    OK I sent.

Nice idea to put labels like real labels. :D

No need to try fitting the gauges... you might make them to me have an idea on how it should look. :) But fitting, I can do it easily here, because of the layers. Keep sending the ideas. :D

Ammo counter: i used a F4F's one, since they are from the same model... but don't know nor erased the english labels. What should we write?

BTW, how do we separate bank angle from artificial horizon? AFAIK in FH it is all mixed up...

About the altimeter: exec, can you ask the developers if they can use this altimeter? It could be used like the normal ones, but didvided by 2. :p
When the plane is at 7km, a red arrow (marking thousands of feets on normal aircrafts)
could be at 2km, so it show you are at 7km.

    Hi exec,

I just sent an email asking PGM about it :)

BTW, I haven't been working too much on the 239 cockpit.. only small details worked on. I have been busy debugging the 47C pit. :)

Seems, as 255/0/255 only works for 3D.

    255/115/255 still makes transparency problems????

BTW Cicero, which transparency are you using? Your pit works both gfor 3D and 2D, while mine's only on 3D (255,0,255)

    Hi illo,

The P-47C "debugging" is only to swap colors (pink, actually) and send to PGM for testing, since the pit is complete a long time ago.
Now that we know what the bug was, it is done. Soon at a store near you. :D

About the Bw-239, sure if you want it, let's work on it. :) I usually take your ideas and throw them on the cockpit, like I did with your gunsite, since you know better than me how the things looked like. :)
I asked PGM if we can use that altimeter and the horizons... let's see his answer.
On sunday I haven't even touched the pit, very busy day IRL, but Saturday I did a little rivet detailing (not complete yet) and forgot to post a pic here... just to show you some rivet detailing, but not complete yet.. today I'll finish it.

    Holy shit!!! :D

I used 255:150:255 at first because that was on the original P-47C artfile. After a week testing and emailing PGM, we changed to 255:0:255.. only on 3D now... Yesterday PGM sent me an email to try this new color (255:115:255).

    If I knew this 255:115:255 before... :)

Im so freak on this brewster thing. :)

This took me about 6 hours...uhhh.
It's constructed over Rafaels BMPs which he kindly sent me.

I did "easy" instruments because propable comparability problems.

I think its quite ready. We just need to tweak that 255.150.255 to 255.115.255.

    Illo, nice additions! :)

I'm a bit reluctant to change the altimeter until I receive an answer form PGM. I liked the original. ;)

Pls, send me your BMP (no compression), so I can make/copy the updated stuff. So far, I worked a bit more on shading/shadow of the instruments... looks like the below (already in 256colors):

PS: the gyro must be black.

PPS: changing color from 255:250:255 to 255:115:255 is the easiest thing here.. don't worry. :)

    Sry double post.

Ill tweak my version to 256 colors later, when other views are made. To minimize color loss and get same shades on every views.

This thing is going great! :D

About the ammo counter: IMO the best place is under the gunsite, so ppl would have it in sight while aiming. About leaving it out of the pit, IMO ppl won't like it.. remember that old La-5 pit? Was rejected by many because it lacked of ammo counter.

daddy Datel is in vacations now.. we're on our own. :D

Well, nose seems quite correct and good for me, but I don't know if its historic or not.. you are the BW-239 master here... use your mind to judge it. ;)
