Buffs now have absolutley NO chance against fighters anymore. The otto settings are USELESS!!!! Most of the time the gunners fail to even call con on 6. If any changes need to be made RIGHT AWAY the ottos need improving. I used to like flying buffs. But now its TOTALLY FRUSTRATING with NO defense. Please make some adjustments to otto settings ASAP..
Hi kernel, nice to see you here. FYI this game is so screwed up now its unbelievable. admins asleep and on drugs. This game used to be great, a lot of fun, a lot of players, now its ruined. 403 squad is gone, 302 seems gone, 228 shad is gone, brazilian squads are gone, legion condor gone, lead rain gone, everybody has gone to another game.
rickoo and I did some testing one time and found that Axis bombers have really poor gunners. They don't shoot when they should, and not very much at all. In the TA we airstarted buffs from Gold/Red sides and flew at each other. The B17 bomber gunners would start shooting early and shoot like crazy. I flew an He177 and gunner response was pathetic. Not too familiar with bombers but, if someone can lookup what the gunnery was on these maybe some things could be corrected?

Admins are not asleep and on drugs.....well....maybe ....they probabably are sleeping, different time zones. Drugs? Not all drugs are bad. I see more problems with drunks. I still see some Brazilian squad members here. I've seen Lead Rain members as well. Just don't always recognize their new IDs right away.
New otto is at open test for a month or two already, nice to have any comments about it at last. 2 - 3 men can't perform enough test work, so testing on MA is necessary in this case. There were many complains on existing otto, and it seems old settings with allowed b+ 4 were really kind of cheat. Some adjustments were performed to make otto less precise when shooting at maneuvering targets but deadly for steady target at six. With overall efficiency somewhere between old settings default and old with b+ 4 on. Please, if u think something is wrong, make tracks, so we could understand better where to move to make all perfect. Also all planes now should have same otto settings, if not - its a bug, again, pls save tracks when you test something, its better to see once than to read many pages of descriptions.
Если при предыдущих параметрах можно было хоть как-то выжить, то при нынешних ты 100% труп. Для этого не надо каких-то треков. Попробовав это нет смысла летать на баффах. Даже чуть-чуть маневрируя на 6 можно не опасаться отто.
на главной арене сейчас все в основном пользуются приемами камикадзе. так что может и не стоит копья ломать.
Я не пойму, трек сохранить это так сложно? Тебе может и не надо, а мне очень поможет. У меня вот запись 4 килов на ТБФ за вылет со старыми отто есть, причем сам я помер только от зенитки. Это, мягко говоря, больше, чем хоть как-то, при том, что обороняться на бомбере я умею очень средненько. От висения самолеты не падают, а чтобы даже слека маневрируя на шести насовать достаточно попаданий из курсового вооружения в принципе нужны руки, против пилота с руками шансов у буффа действительно немного, может на таких тебе и везло? Наличие какого-то заметного шанса против самолетов типа 190, тайфуна или шестидудочных амеров означает практическую невозможность сбить редовский бомбардировщик (кроме дб3) на чем-то более легком, причем почти независимо от квалификации атакующего, потому что старым отто на маневры цели в общем-то плевать. Тебя, собственно, что сбило и на чем был ты? Может действительно стоит сделать отто позлее, но чтобы быстрее понять на сколько и за счет чего, желательны более конкретные претензии, с иллюстрациями.
Были злые??? А ты не застал, когда было отто 10 и регулировались все параметры? Но нормальным пилотам и это не мешало. Cannon наши 2 Пе-2 разнёс в 2 захода. Мёрли только те, что пёрли напролом. Предыдущие настройки, ИМХО, были самые адекватные из всех. А эти - хуже некуда. Даже огня не открывают иногда. Я был и на Ли, и на ДБ, и на Б-24. Это называется -> летайте сами. Вы приводя отто близким к риалу, забываете, что и истребители тупо до последнего не пёрли на бафф. Вот для того, что бы уровнять эти параметры и нужно, что бы отто было немного злее. А когда захватывается поле, то не трекописания/сохранения.

С тех времен менялись настройки ДМ, разброса и т.д. Огонь эти отты, если нет какого-то бага, не связанного с настройками, открывают раньше, точнее вообще сразу - паузы между очередями меньше и rt выкручен в минимум, как раз, чтобы убрать счастливую возможность сбить бонбер вообще не потревожив отто или встроившись в хвост между очередями. Когда ты бываешь на арене? Я пытался зазвать когонить из буфоводов тестить отто, никто не отозвался в свое время, давай хотя бы сейчас. kum — new otto is fucking shit, buffs became weak and defenseless, this is obvious fact, no need in tracks or anything else to see it, previous settings with more accuracy and b+ 4 (4 sec burst) were just nice, bring all back. gil — i'm glad that everything is so clear for you, but i still need all possible information to understand what exactly is wrong (if so) and how it could be fixed in best way. The idea under new otto was not to make buffs defenseless, if it is really so, it need to be fixed. Tell me when can i try to meet you online, would be nice to involve experienced buff pilot in test work. (short summary)
