lehmann deserved the red card, the ref's job is not to make the match interesting
his job is to make it fair
    he did his job

Lehmann deserves the red card because he exists...

Sorry, but counting the goal would have made much more sense - sending someone off so early... did Barcelona need such an advantage?

i'm more and more suspicius with integrity of football results :/
btw i'm waiting new world cup but i'm in divided feeling.

    - 1998 cup is the fact of the team or the fact of platini dark buisness?
when u see how germany loose 1/4 final to not meet french on 1/2 again, how brazil (not)played on final in comparison with their 1/2...
that's hurts me, but i don't trust anymore foot results.
And, let's not wait for the medias to clear the situation, the first objectif is to keep the public stuck and sleepy.

Dunno why Barça always played against 10 for more than 70 minutes in this year´s most important matches... xD

Btw giving goal and yellow card for Lehmann would have made much more sense IMO.

Barca won coz Henry screw up 2 100% situations.

i was defending myself from this thought for a long time
but there is something about it
why doesnt fifa agree to video monitoring during the game to judge offsides, ball position and all dificult situations (fouls, handballs etc)
they just want to keep the last possibility to manipulate the result

i dont understand why would they resist 1 more technical referee, who would sit faced to the monitor and decide all controversial stuff, at leaast in champions league knock out and at world cup of course

i even heard explanation that ref mistake is a part of the game
    wtf

    hey milo :)
however i would bet all my money on barca as a cup winner (cause i had the feeling barca is... supported) i think ref decision was ok
lehman did miss the ball and attacked etoo out of the penalty area
he deserved red card, however i would count the goal as well :D

barca was indeed weak that night and arsenal played great when downed to 10 men, but i wouldnt say arsenal lost cause of red card
    barca would win anyway imo

That's why you should never pass the ball to the goalkeeper towards the goal - always off to one side.

It was not necessary to beat ball out from first, he could stop it.

England's goalkeepers are legendary, Seaman, James, now Robinson... unbelievable faults.
