My minds. We may try to blame ETA of explosions because of explosive type and detonators. But. Where from are those explosives and detonators? ETA does not produce explosives or detonators itself. Especially in the quantities being found and used -- hundreds of kilograms. ETA might have been used as a local "expert" to bypass security. May be as a storage provider as well. Remember planes in the US that attacked WTC and Pentagon, and one more that crashed. All of them worked nearly in parallel in time. The action was highly coordinated and simultaneous. Now compare to explosions in Spain... But from the other point of view to point at Al Qaeda just because of normal diversion organization would be short-sighted. It is usual for spec.ops operation: to make charges to go off in one time to prevent counter measures to be effective. I guess, not Al Qaeda only knows that. At the same moment not all charges have detonated. That proves low quality of timing devices or problems with wiring... Al Qaeda? Arabs are known "experts" in electronics.

An hour and a half ago Polish government announced national mourning to solidarize itself with the Spanish people. Flags were lowered to half height on all govt buildings, TV shows on some stations altered (at least in public TV and private Polsat TV) and most of parties cancelled (I was supposed to take part in a regaae party tonite, but I'm not going). First govt decission with which i fully agree for long time.

    Osvaldo

no grobar - terrorist acts all over the world are a tragedy.

only because it was in europe there were 3 silent minutes in the EU

now i canґt believe that this terrorist act could influence a nations election and the new voted government to call back itґs army from the iraq.

the terrorist really are winners now - the now think by those actions they could repress more !
(i never would have sent troops to iraq but we all canґt make things unhappen.)

i think not even ONE of the victims of madrid was against the islam or pro sending troops to the iraq.

    all victims are innocent ones.

damndamn now al-queda think that they can really make a difference since Spains social-party won the vote just after the explosion ?? ?? Aaaagh!.Before the election right-wing was in power ,and as I heard the former primeminister put spains to Iraq against gongress's big majority... ..Spain getting it's troops now out of Iraq ..and Spain's relationship with USA getting cold.. what a mess :(
