Are you saying that just because it's intended to be used against armor, it can't possibly be harmful to civilians?

EDIT: Okay, since you've edited your post ... correct me if I'm wrong, but no one said you guys DELIBERATELY attacked civilians. Actually I'm quite sure you didn't (that would be utterly moronic). The Russians probably attacked Georgian troops, but that doesn't mean civilians can't still get caught in the fire, right?

Nobody purposely cluster-bombs civilians, but it's just one of the inevitable realities of war that, when there's a war being fought, civilians ARE going to die.

    yup:

"As Russian forces started to hand over control of the Georgian town of Gori yesterday, you could detect a note of surprise, even disappointment, in many media reports. So the all-out Russian invasion of plucky little democratic Georgia might not be going to happen after all. Could it be that the bear was drawing in his claws?

Well, Russia did not have long to worry about losing its reputation as backyard bully. Within hours, the United States envoy to Georgia was spinning a whole new myth to the BBC about how it was only decisive US intervention ? by which he presumably meant the warplanes laden with humanitarian aid by then ostentatiously parked at Tbilisi airport ? that the mighty erstwhile Red Army had been turned back.

The many Georgians who had counted on more timely and robust assistance from their US protector surely laughed a bitter laugh. But there were signs, with the arrival of the US Secretary of State in Georgia, that this version was gaining hold. The story of this war, it seems, will be that the US faced down a snarling, expansionist Russia, and forced it to limp back to its lair."

    yup, yup:

Russian people think western media are liars
South American people think western media are liars
Chinese people think western media are liars
Arab peoples think western media are liars
Afghanistani people think western media are liars (i've asked anti-Taleban secular afghanistani refugee)
Armenian people think western media are liars (thats another tiny country "threatened" by Russia, next to Georgia)
Turkish people, old US allies, think western media are liars
Iranian people think western media are liars (again, i've asked Iranian girls abroad who gladly displayed large portions of their pretty flesh)
    etc. etc.
