P38 is bugged to hell. On the ground, going full throttle on the ground with the stick pulled back will allow you to stand straight up, even do back flips, with no airspeed. Full throttle on the ground while using rudder will make you spin like a top. Also rudder authority in the air is crazy, you can almost yaw the plane and fly backwards with that kind of rudder.

Why red planes are always bugged to become better, while gold planes are always bugged to become worse ? :dunno: :dunno:

IMHO P38s have to be removed from game until that bug has been fixed (something like it was did with F4F sometime ago)

I tried P38. The bug is an absurd. After u just take off its possible to turn 90° and keep continuous turn only using rudders.
If it happened with BF110 i.e. probably we would called cheaters.
I agree, remove P38s until that bug has been solved.

Are you folks on crack or something? I'd like you to show me how the P-38's oversensitive rudder is an asset in ANY air combat situation! The friggin rudder on the 38 is so sensitive that it's just about useless in combat. All it does is to make your plane wobble wobble wobble ... stall stall spin ... crash.

But yeah, please DO reduce the P-38's rudder. Right now it's impossible to apply just some rudder - it's either all or nothing.

Please post a track to demonstrate how you can utilize the P-38's rudder authority to achieve anything other than sending your plane into a spin. In particular, I'd like to see how you make the plane fly "almost backwards".

yup, it's very hard to aim because the rudder is too sensitive at low speed.
and it's the same about the elevator afair.
