Actually universe is a state of mind.

My bad. I ment "If gases, that exist in earths atmosphere and in earths gravitaniotal system, have ever tried to (escape and) fill up entire universe, it would have happen a long time ago."

If that would be possible, this debate would be non-existant. As the life ,as we know it, on earth.

Temperature is no more than a speed of molecules. Nothing unnatural that matter is moving so fast on its way to a black hole.

What do you mean? Temperature issue? Well, lets' take a supersonic plane. Its surfaces are getting hot at high speeds. Why, if it flies at altitudes where air temperature of -50°C is a usual thing? -- Just because air molecules transfer energy of collision to the molecules of aiframe coating. Pure kinetic energy. Coating molecules get more oscillatory amplitude => more heat.

Very nice, reuben, but in the post #45 I was mentioning only CO2 with molecular mass of 46, not Cl2 with molecular mass of 71 :) Cl may reach ozone layer only in light compositions, but the world has stopped production of Cl-containing coolants as far as I know.

That's true because of the friction, not because of the molecules are moving faster. In the space there's no friction.

However, you're right (more or less) saying that speed causes temperature

Quite a few countries has stopped USING "Freon" (R) by DuPont, IN NEW SYSTEMS.
That is not the same as we stopped using them.

There is a stop to MAKE NEW SYSTEMS with CFC since 1998 or sth and a stop TO FILL EXISTING systems since 2002 or sth. In some countries.

When US stoped using CFC legally, you could get it in Mexico. Was quite a lucrative smuggling IIRC, no big deal if you were caught, we aint talking cocaine :p

The Africa still use CFC AFAIK, probably bigger part of Asia and Southamerica also, still.

No matter. As long as system exist with CFC you'll get CFC into the air, either when servicing systems, destroying them , or when you feel that you'd like to use the AC in the car without converting it to HCFC or HFC and them get some guy to fill your system illegally.
