So, provide the engineering testimony that proves what you quote. If there is information, and you say it is incorrect, then you must have the data with research and testing, not just engineering poppy-cock. Engineering only get's you so far on paper, then it all changes after it ends up in the field where the real truth comes out. :deal:

No, engineering involves field testing, that's how fighters are built, they don't just make em, then send then into combat & hope they work. Thats rubbish.

These ridiculous posits you make are your resposibility, not mine to do your homework for you. If you can't support your claims, they are poppycock.

    5000 G55. prove it.

16.000 Italian Uber torpedoes. Prove it.

US metallurgy in 262 jet engines. Prove it.

So, in other words, you have no data.

Why would I have data on his absurd posits? There is no data on his bizarre rantings. Thats why hasn't stepped up to the plate, he can't.

Your speech is getting bad it seems. I get it though. You're starting to sound like these pimple faced losers who can't figure out how to shoot down their opponent and then scream that their opponents aircraft is over-modeled without any data. Your "absurd posits" indicate you don't agree with someone else's knowledge and facts but, don't have anything to prove what information proves it is absurd, only, that your information is the only truth, and all other information is false unless approved by Herr black hornet.

Nope, provided ample data for any & all my posits AlW, only Looseleaf has failed to step up to the plate.

    Examples...

Society of experimental test pilots data.

CLIMB brake release to 10,000 ft.
Hellcat quickest at 4min 15 seconds, followed by the FG-1 at 4min 44 sec.
However, the F6F required 100 lbs of continuous right rudder making it
very tiring to operate. The P-47 trailed the FG-1 by a few seconds. The
    P-51 came in last.

    Lednicer Spit data.

    Sory no dice there.

Ha ha ha.... I've had this discussion with many an Irishman and many a time...

Firstly I just cannot stand stout with any kind of head. NO foam PLEASE !!!

Secondly for some reason, I prefer the first pint a bit cooler than the rest.

One possible reason I had thought that the first pint is always special for me and I take my time to savor the flavors as they develop while it warms to room temp...

Also the bottle were always fresher than the kegs down in my parts...

unless you went to those ******** places and were friends of those Irish ************ guys who were *************** for the ***...

    Here's a little something from:

NACA WAR TIME REPORT, December 1942

FLIGHT TESTS OF NACA JET-PROPULSION EXHAUST STACKS
    ON THE SUPERMARINE SPITFIRE AIRPLANE
By L. Richard Tamer and Maurice D. White

"... The Supermarine Spitfire airplane was equipped with exhaust
stacks designed according to the jet-propulsion exhaust-stack
system developed by the NACA. An increase in the high speed
of the airplane of 6 miles per hour at constant propeller thrust
horsepower was obtained as compared with the airplane equipped
with the Rolls Royce exhaust system.

No differentiation between the effects of reduced drag and
increased exhaust Jet thrust was possible. ..."

In other words they still could not tell how the "Meredith Effect" worked.

Or they were still not going to talk about it yet.

Meredith effect was known prior to WW 2.

The Meredith Effect is the use of the hot air from a radiator to provide thrust for an aircraft.[1][2]

The concept was devised by Fredrick Meredith at the Royal Aircraft Establishment (RAE), Farnborough, prior to World War II,

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meredith_Effect

P-38 L was a badass machine. My neighbor flew 51 missions in the Pacific in one. It could outroll, outdive P-51. & yes, outaccelarate it.

Please try to actually read and understand rather than read and repeat.

Meredith discovered an effect. He stated that the hot air exhausted from the radiator resulted in an increase in thrust. It was not fully explained (publicly) until after the war.

The hot air reduced the drag when it was vented to the correct locations and in the right volumes.

Please consider using a spell checker too.
