    hi illo,
ok, ill make them all, np, you can choose the better ones then. i was just suggesting to leave the 6, 7.5 and 9 views as they are since the pilots eyes move slightly backwards when he turns his head, there are some 10-15cms between the first posts and an update (for 12view). whats your opinion?

i dont know how free was a brewster pilot in a cockpit. we know that b239 was a roomy plane, but im not sure how firmly was a pilot tied to his seat. <im trying it now, i must look like a fool. good luck, theres almost noone in the study :D >. im able to turn my head as far as 8oclock but no further (i can see 6 in a corner of my eye) w/o my back leaving the seat, my eyes go sligtly backwards in this case. if i rise my back from the seat i can look at my 6 comfortably with my eyes at about the same position as during 12 look.
i wont make it difficult and make _all_ the views from the second, updated position. you ll have the pics by tommorow since all comp. studies will be closed  from afternoon on.

I think best would be to follow view positioning of existing WB planes.(like you seem to be doing)

Like in any other planes pilots loosened belts for viewing around unless in combat. In combat it would be more comfortable to have belts tight, because any negative G maneuvers would seriously hurt you.

If we could alter all other wb planes for more realistic views, then I would support 6 view offcenter which would look past the seat with view to about 45degrees off from direct 6. (no linda blair view) But as other planes are (and will most likely stay..since it would be huge work.) Im all for normal WB views for new planes.

Just a thought.... illo, what about an "artistic-license" and move the altimeter gauge to the big empty (under the HSI) and put the G-meter in its place? The "4 most needed" would be held together and in big gauges. :)

    just a thought.... :)

What you wish..imho current layout is good too. Overall impression is great. :)

Email me that screen please. Or send to my FTP. I need uncompressed picture.

I will do few finetuning things on front view framing and send it back to you then so you can concentrate on other views if you like it. I can also make frames for other views if you want me to.

Also I spend few hours for updated gunsight. (better visual depth...so its more "on top" like in cockpit photos.)

Btw, vsi meter is 100% identical in 109 and brewster. Only texts are in finnish.
I can draw it if you like.

illo.. I just sent the email.. enjoy :)

As I said.. I forgot to update the VSI... again.. LOL :)

    questions:
1- Still no ideas for that empty gauge? Tell me anything.. :D
2- where should I put ammo/ord counter? I thought of somewhere below the gunsite?
3- anything else? I accept all suggestions :)

For empty gauge: If nothing still is needed, you could take a real one and put a photo of you in front of a Brewster over it, so that it is not whole seen.

"Who needs instruments...?" :joystick: :flyer: :D

    Illo, nice changes :)
I was thinking about moving some lights to the gyro panel :D

BTW, should we move the flaps/gear indicator to below the VSI? Or no flaps/gear indicator at all?
