    If sight is that low, doesnt it make lead shooting almost impossible?

    Gunsight is copy of german Revi 3d sights.

    Hi illo

    cc, I'll throw it a bit lower, when I finish the panel.

    have u got a pic with readable numbers on speedmeter? :)

    This seems like this cockpit has some metric/mph mixed meters.

    440---400---360---320---280(at bottom)---240---200---160---120---80
    mph

    smaller numbers km/h respectively.

    I would use maybe finnish installed metric gauges, much more simple.

    Clock - We dont have in FH
    MAN - We dont have it in FH

    ALT - Altimetre or korkeus (km) (could be also simply, km)
    GYROS - Directional Gyro or suuntahyrrä. (not any text must)
    SPEED - Velocity or nopeus (km/t). (or simply km/t) (km/h came later, km/t is correct with finnish text)
    Climb- Vertical Velocity?, arrows up and down with text nousu (means up), lasku (means down)(m/s), or simply m/s. (-20 -15 -10 -5 0 5 10 15 20

    Oh man!! :D

    MANIFOLD is useless! I spent so much time drawing those markings.. dont we have any chance of a working MAN gauge? :D J/K

    What do u suggest to replace it? If I remember correctly, was oil pressure/temp? any (can be blurry) pics of this? Please, understand that I'm a bit too nitpicky with these things... :D :)

    Thanks for the inputs! I'll add these numbas.. as for vertical speed, it is very similar to the allied ones... except for the finn text. Maybe I'll borrow one and edit a bit. :)

    What is the highest number in km/h on the small circle?

    My personal opinion:

    No mixed meters...

    ALT= Korkeus (km)
    SPEED= Nopeus (km/t)
    CLIMB= nousu (arrow up) lasku (arrow down) (m/s)
    OIL TEMP= Öljy lämp. ('C)
    GYRO= Suuntahyrrä (')

    Meters that dont need/fit text.

    Fuel= Polttoaine
    Flaps= Laskusiivekkeet
    Gears= Laskuteline

    :)

    BTW, I've been thinking:

    We have two gyros slots

    We could make the upper-right one to hold beacon and gears and flaps indicators?

    Tomorrow I'll post here updated stuff... maybe I'll finally start doing the canopy bars :D

    As for speedmeter: I'll do the bigger ones in km/h (labeled nopeus) and the small one in mp/h (almost unreadable).. what you think? :)

    For oil gauges it will be on the bottom-left gauge, ok? :)

    The right one will be for fuel, like you said.. in hte place of clock :)
    damn.. I'll have to leave it less historic than I could imagine. :D

    my 2 cents

    make manifold RPM instead, just start from 0-100 ((does brester have WEP /?))

    Good point. Ithink RPM meter should be placed below speed indicator. (original GYRO position)

    Oil temperature below message buffer. (original MAN position)

    Where could we place flap and gear indicator?

    Slip indicator is to the right of gunsight as well as bank angle arrow.

    Shouldn't be a slip indicator in the middle of a planes axis, to work best?

    Upper right one seems good gyro place. (like in mc202) Since RPM meter needs place and below speedometer is the most logical position.

    I think its better to keep indicators simple. For speed just text Nopeus (km/t).
    from 50 to 700 for example.
    I belive this was case usually in RL cockpits too. (why to have mph readings when we use metric system?)

    kmh makes no sense since its english and brewster instruments were converted to finnish...so km/t in brackets.

    Another "short" explanations are pretty much the same

    here list

    (km/t)=kilometers per hour
    (m/s)=meters per second
    (k/min)=rounds per minute
    ('C)=degrees celcius
    (')=degrees (yeah you know i didnt find that little ball)
    (km)=kilometres
    (m)=metres

    did i forget something? :)

    Throttle gauge shouldnt have RPM or maybe even finnish (k/min) (since throttle is showed from 0 to 100%) maybe just leave it without text. Kaasu (%) would mean Throttle (%)

    Another possibily would be to have "fake" rpm like in other planes. This would be (k/min x100)

    Problem would be placing flap and gear indicator (ive heard they have to be arrow ones in our new cockpits)

    Something i found....might help.

    Variometri = Vertical speed indicator
    Pystynopeus = Vertical speed
    Öljynpaine = Oil pressure
    Öljyn lämp. = Oil temp.
    Suuntahyrrä = Directional gyro
    Kaarto- ja luisu = Bank and Sideslip
    Polttoaine = Fuel
    Laskusiivekkeet = Flaps
    Laskuteline = Gear

    Ofcourse you can do all instruments in english but with metric readings. And text tags for Laskusiiveekkeet and Laskuteline. (flaps ands gears)

    Btw flaps have 4 positions.

    Gravity is about the same 20cm off the plane center. :) Ask brewster engineers.

    Its whole plane that slips, right? :)
