i might be wrong, i included the nose in the 3d model accordingly(so theres no need to add it to the cockpit)

in its place (still the same problem w/ wire). the from-cockpit model is 90% ready. i just need to add those parts of MGs that extend from upper part of wing. and change color of ailerons slightly and maybe add some details (like in WB). i guess that whole (all LODs) b239 model could be ready within few hours.

    p.s.
if theres anyone out there who would like to skin sparviero and meteor (optionally create remaining LODs), youre welcome  . pls, send me email via forum

    1. Front frames are thicker. Especially upper frame. Cockpit photo posted earlier shows them good. (frame connection and shape.)

    2. Upper side frames are connected to main support frame(big bended one) so that connection is not visible from pilots eyes.

    3. Gunsight base and wheel are different shape and size. I did much measuring to get right dimensions in my illustration...so it should be near correct.

    4. Gunsight glass is bigger and retangular (90degree edges.) Look WB fw190 Revi or any other LW gunsight for reference.(Brewster has german Revi sight copy, so you can just cut&paste that glass)

    5. Lower side frames are straight vectors. (no curve at all, because flat windows there)

    6. Panel "behind" has no bump near gunsight. Its symmerical "top of circle" (parabel?)
Note: What looks like asymmetry at left is only shadow from cockpit frame.

    Thats all...

This explains a lot about side frames. (its shown in my earlier illustration too)

F4F compared here. Which has almost identical front fuselage shape.

As you see your Cockpit curves like in Hurricane or I-16 which have bending glass.

    :D It looks like brewster.

Sides and dashboard top looks good :)

(btw. while looking F4F I noticed there would be some nice detailed pieces of cockpit frames which could be used....bolts and all)

This cutting and pasting works good...you must try it. Just look these.

    1. I copied pieces of F4F cockpit frames.(selection tool with straight lines.)
    2. I pasted them over trasparent background.
    3. I changed color to black metallic with "colorize" command.
    4. I rotated and fitted them over your cockpit. (hmm... i think it would look great partially under that dashboard)

Check this...how do you like? It took 5mins (only partially applied)

I got bit excited with this:)

Gunsight "leather" from ki87 (adjusted bigger)
Gunsight wheel from zero (or other way around)
Revi optics from 109e. (adjusted little smaller)

What do you think?? Frames are must imho...very hard to draw that accurate. Much easier to just rotate and place.

about the frames, I forgot to make them darker. :) Is it so dark like in your drawings?

BTW what's the correct shape for the frame? Square like I did, rounded or like F4F's?

:D, pic of your truelove, rafael?

...<few minutes of hard thinking :D >...hm, if you suggest updates (suppose you dont like the pilot in lying position)... i can just move the pilots position slightly forward. is it necessary for 6 to 9oclock views?

your cockpit pics look very cool!

I dont understand what you are meaning. (In my illustration and datels 3d view from pilot eyes all shapes are correct.)
