    OK everyone;

    Can anyone of you out there in FH land post a word or two on suggested corrections for the flight model of planes here and now on FH?

    From these suggestions I would like to form a poll.

    Thanks

    eh... well proven suggested corrections will be implemented without any polls.
    however, many people have real problems proving fixe requests. :(

    Gandhi has made a quite elucidative test some time ago proving that spit's absurd E retention is a FACT.

    I see...and I suppose you have some historical data to prove this?

    Perhaps you can let us know what you will consider as proof.

    make sure you have accurate w/x data from time & place of report also, it effects performance considerably

    the plane Spitfire mk 9c has FH parameter turn time measured as 17 seconds while 100% fuel at alt 1000m with WEP. in real life the plane Spitfire mk 9c with merlin 61 engine giving Take-Off Power 1,280 hp (12 lb) (955 kW) 1,565 hp (MS gear) (1,167 kW) 1,390 hp (FS gear) (1,037 kW) (data from http://www.spitfireart.com/merlin_engines.html) had the same parameter value 18,5 (data from NII VVS Report TSAGI №256) loaded with 100% fuel ( i dont know the exact capacity of fuel) at the same alt. please fix FH airplane Spitfire mk 9c to have this parameter 18,5s instead of unrealistic 17s.

    Why are we using RUSSIAN data for an aircraft of BRITISH origin??? Hang on... I've got it!!! Data from the US/British and Allies isn't trusted in here. If it ain't German or Russian, don't bother :(

    Just a side note... When are we gonna get back the Spitfire IX with the 'E' wing and its 2 x .50 cal MGs??? This was one of the original aircraft in iEN WB. It'll sure help having a bit more firepower when going up against the uber golds.

    Last TOD I was in spitfire it puzzled me the speed of the Ki-44 vs Spit IX. Spit has more powerful engine (apropos, wich?) more streamlined fuselage, the famous elliptical wing, yet it is slower, in my experience to the Ki on the deck. Ki has lighter airframe and smaller wing OTOH. Does it make up for it? Last time I found a Ki-44 + Ki-43 on my tail I felt like Saddam on Christmas Day.

    On the other hand, a slower, worse turning, worse armed Ki wouldn't be very popular, would it? This raises in my head the question: Are performance of FH planes adjusted for better gameplay (more even matchups)? I remember long ago it was stated Il-2 is somewhat porked on purpose in turning ability, other planes as well?

    As FH speed charts are very out of date I like to check AH ones. (Also here) Some comparisons between planes in AH and FH bring different results. For example La-7 is faster than Tempest here, 190A turns as well or better than Typhoon here, F4U4 faster than Dora OTD here, etc... (All this IIRC and in fact I just remember prolly because I was in the losing side in a particular combat, so I'm not a very realiable source). I wish AH and FH performances were closer or that I understand why they differ. Probably that means I have to read more so...

    did I mention this girl and this too host programs on spanish TV?
