Dev's, for pete's sake do something about the P-38!!

I wanna bring one of my main gripes about the p38 back to the attention of the devs. And please, someone give me an answer this time. Why can't the p38 pull more than 5 G's or so when going at speeds greater than 300 and something mph (even with the elevator trimmed for maximum deflection)? What is your justification for this restriction?
