Ahhh! No, please ... no more jets!! If I had any say in it, the one we already have would be discarded as well. Jets just have too much of an advantage over the rest of the planes in the RPS. The point could be made that, since the Germans had them IRL, so should golds in the game. But then the game should probably also simulate the other factors such as critical shortages of just about everything for the gold side.
As it stands, flying jets in what is essentially a prop-plane simulation is dweebery taken to the next level ... shooting at planes that have effectively no way of retaliating ... and yeah, I do know that jets can be killed provided you catch them on take-off or have a couple miles of alt advantage to run them down ... but that doesn't count.

 

Redz have plenty of planes that can down a jet even with an alt disadvantage.

But imo I agree 262 is not needed.

p.s. a lot of those Italian planes are freakin ugly

 

Yes, no more jets... well maybe the Arado 234.

But unless there is a jet only arena, Please no more jets.

Again this is a fantasy, but the Do335 would be fun.

Any case the P-61 would be fun too.

However in terms of real planes that were actually used, my suggestion/ wish list would include:

PBY- "Catalina" and the P-63 King Cobra.

The PBY could be used in the Pacific maps instead of the Li2. Water landing would be cool- Reds could have the D0 24.

P-63 could be used as the real replacement of the P-39 and drop the variants of the P-39 as the P-63 was a total new design, with help from Russian engineers and test pilots.- blah blah-blah... sorry.

I would actually love the most if we could put more of accent on early war.
Introduce some older versions of P-39, P-38, mb some biplane torpedo plane..
Anything that will destroy kill kill kill spirit, make it harder, but just not like making new WW1 with bunch of turners

Not in this mod, but wouldnt be nice to make some mod of Korean war,
with new and last dogfighting planes like MiG-15 and F-86?
I think it would be great to have something like this on fh, with fm of wb2.77.
Just imagine big furball migs versus sabres, or bunch of migs trying to kill B-29s?
Something more for all these hot headed fighters and scorewhores?

 

Well if we are talking wish lists:

I would like to see a fighter arena that runs one plane at a time for all players on a rotating basis. Every so many hours or days players get one plane, both sides. start at snoopy plane and go all the way to 262. Even keep scorepages for that. Maybe allow Li and Ju52 for base taking or maybe just have two bases at a certain distance apart so planes can get to altitude. Maybe even have all planes start at a certain altitude over their base in a two base arena so there's faster action?

 

Why not give us Fw-200 Condor?

 

Great looseleaf, mb a RTS like Tabahost has!
Some events here would be great, like Bodenplatte, or Ardennes...

The Ki-100-Ia could be great, but actually I do prefer the Fiat G.55A...


And about Fw-200, I saw that it doesn't had the number built to be here in FH...

The P-61 would be great plane here too

But as night fighter it was great weapon, don't know if FH arena could support that plane...

And this would be funny too...

P.S. I remember building a model airplane as a child it was a Dornier bomber...I remember after viewing the pic of this Dornier, strange how memories are locked away for 35 years or so, then they reappear.....

 

...and maybe the four engined version too?
